Maybe, maybe not. People today just hate new music from bands or artists that have been around ten years more. They simply don't like it because it's "new." I should say a good number of people. Thanks mr_dja! Please forgive me, alternate picking is what I was trying to come up with the term for. Beginner here. lol I can play the song doing just down strokes, but mess up like hell when trying to master alternate picking. I know some punk bassists down even use alternate picking. It's 4:17am here on the east coast of the USA, and I am up in my apartment drinking a pint and rocking out to The Stones. During the song Stray Cat Blues, Daryl goes into his bass solo, and Keith kinda becomes possessed, and walks over towards Daryl. To me it looks like he says "Play that motherF'er!"
