QuoteCarnaby This may be the the interview which was the very first release on the then-new Rolling Stones label, yellow w/ the red tongue. It was a promo for radio stations. They are relatively rare, but copies exist. I think you're talking about the Tom Donahue interview.

QuoteGreen Lady According to some descriptions of "Headin' for an Overload" it's "US radio, The King Biscuit Flower Hour 26-29.6 1975" Having never heard the interview I can't tell whether that sounds likely. Did Dud and Pete ever appear on KBFH? One CD is KBFH Sept.29-1974, the second is KBFH Nov.24-1975. The inteview is added at the end of 2nd CD, and

Quotetreaclefingers That seems like a reasonable explanation, but isn't that ridiculous? Their biggest act and they don't keep the original masters vaulted under lock and key? you know, sometimes strange things happened. on the mega-RSR-single-box released last year, nobody at RSR noticed that "I Think i'm Going Mad" have a big mastering default, nobody never ever

Quotetreaclefingers Thanks for posting that, and thanks to Jan as well. Fascinating. For me, the question left unanswered is...WHY the hell did they feel the need to fold down the stereo mix to mono on later cuts, when they already had the original mono mix? Riddle me that batman! I don't know, but MAYBE Decca wanted to repress mono LP's, needed a new laquer, but couldn't

Quotetreaclefingers Nice...my matrices on this one are ARL-8126-T2-3K and ARL-8127-T2-3K. Sadly, more like VG condition for my vinyl, although the sleeve and bag are pretty nice. Are you saying my mono copy isn't true mono...more like a stereo folddown or something? Why would they do that? yes, your record is made from a stereo mix reduced to a mono mix. follow this link, a refer

QuoteCome On Any sleeve on that nice little single? It would have been something to be a owner of this one already 1965 with a song being originally released 1976... what's the flip-side? as you can see, Wastin' Time is the B-side

QuoteCaptainAcidThis rare version of Memo From Turner is hard to find anyway, but in this quality it has never appeared before. Just do one on one comparation when you download, with previous versions. I have an official silver pressed DVD of Performance, which is not rare. Did you used another source ? I am downloading your files, I will check the sound when the download is complete.

All Down The Line - difficult to explain - same instruments but sound different to my ears, and it's not just EQ. Brown Sugar - end of the song, around 3'30, mick's words "alright motherfu.cker" are edited Honky Tonk Women - guitar mistake during the intro is wiped out.

QuoteHis Majesty Tis just same as 1969 US tour version, open G with capo at 4th fret. Taylor in standard tuning. NO, he plays around the 7th/9th frets, not around the 4th/6th frets ! That's why I think it's not open G capoed 4th !

Quoteliddas The first guitar to be heard is Taylor (left channel), and is the Nashville one. Keith on the right channel, with an open G acoustic. Sounds normal to me (no ten strings I agree with you, 1st guitar is Taylor. Because I can't imagine Keith playing those harmonics and octavados.
