time dilutes a legacy, but at least we have the technology to continue seeing them, otherwise they could be forgotten once those that lived at the same time had passed on, maybe in 100 years time people of that time wont really be interested in them, or that time had diverted from the truth as history has had the habit of being told differently, from my own perspective, the band will one day qui

the rolling stones has been a hobby of mine since 1987 and will be till im no longer on the planet, it has cost money like all hobbies, buy i never intended to make money out of this, its been worth every penny spent.

helicopters are death traps, ive been on some but never again after what happened in leicester last year when one crashed after the owner and 4 others left the stadium then came crashing seconds later. most crashes are caused by gearbox failures, which usually sends them into an uncontrolable spin. the only way to reduce the spin is to slow the rotors which also reduces the helicopters lif

depends on venues, saw u2 in 1987 at exhibition centre glasgow, its not a concert venue as such but a venue for conferences and other events, so atmosphere was good but if your sitting at the back could see little. outdoor gigs i have been to are stones at murrayfield edinburgh in 1999 and hampden glasgow in 1990, both up in the stands, terrible atmosphere, would have been better watching on

good article but no mention of pink floyds early stuff. interstellar overdrive is psychedelic rock at its best. ahead of its time in my opinion.

i dont wear a watch, as i dont need to be told the time, i know when its time to eat, drink, sleep, play, get drunk or shit. even a good watch fails to remind you when that time is.

its all about perception, one band can do an average album and the public think its great while another do a great album and the public think its just ok, its about whats expected, or how big the group is or how it sits with the normality. other groups that i wont name could have made satanic, buttons, goats head soup or its only r and r. and they would have been considered legendary albums, b

you cant replace band members and always be the same band. stones have had enough replacements, brian leaving, taylor replacing him then leaving for ronnie to come in but that was only 1 original band member leaving, then bill makes it 2, charlie going would be 3 original members gone, with only 2 left, that to me is not the same band, when charlie goes the stones go,

every so often videos get blocked for copyright, whether it be music videos, concerts, tv or films. its nothing new, they cant monitor everything all the time, so videos can then reappear at a later date.

pink floyd released 2 mammoth projects, 1 was old stuff, 1 was new and both are selling for hundreds of pounds. each had updated versions of already existing songs also outtakes of already existing songs but a different version recorded. they then done outtakes of songs never released previously, various live versions of many songs and various instrumentals of songs already release

1967 was a great year for the stones, if you add in the best songs from each album, include the singles, b -sides, outtakes and instrumentals. and for some on here, to make it a masterpiece add in yellow submarine, obla di obla da and penny lane. you know the real deep heavy, mind arranging psychedelic rockers the beatles became famous for. am i dissing the beatles again, sorry, but its

its the old beatles always better than the stones argument again. my opinion is peppers is overrated, buttons is underrated, satanic is underrated and better than peppers, pik floyds piper at the gates of dawn has psychedelic stuff on it that blows the beatles away, and if you like your music, intense, more aggresive, soulfull and emotional then the stones is always better than beatles. hav

both highlight the diversity of the band and its ever changing sound and both contain filler, however i choose aftermath as i feel the strongest songs are slightly better than buttons, although i think buttons is underrated and has hidden classics, maybe next week i,ll go for a draw.

climate change or not, arsonists should be treated as murderers, if they kill someone its murder, not an accident, if they dont kill someone its attempted murder in my opinion. and what about those poor animals, would throw these clowns at the mercy of the animal liberation front, see how they like that.

i was brought up with chart music during the 70,s from the radio first thing in the morning to top of the pops on a thursday yet i had never heard about the rolling stones till well into the 80,s. the tattoo you era passed me by, so did undercover and dirtywork, wasnt till mid 80,s i knew of the rolling stones and i thought they were a 60,s band that lasted into the 70,s and were no longer pla

my first tape was love you live, that took a while to get into, it grew on me but didnt really dig a lot of it at first, then a few months later bought rolled which gave me a taste of the diversity they had at that time, then spent the rest of 1988 and 1989 discovering the other albums.

its amazing looking at old photos, just to see the subtle changes from the past to now, i agree on the clothes, when watching old movies it becomes apparent both men and women dresses very classy, now a lot of women wear joggies, a lot of guys wear hoodies and joggies, i was born in the 60,s but if i could travel in a time machine and make myself younger i would grow up in early 60,s london, it m

also in 2042 the beatles estate sues the stones for copyright citing the fact the stones got their inspiration for all their albums up till 2041 from beatles songs. yoko ono speaking says that if you play love is strong backwards and upside down at a 3rd of the normal speed and your half deaf it sounds like hey jude. she also cites many other stones songs as a beatles rip off. the stones fig

148. Re: Happy
the show i saw in 2018 was in warsaw where he sang before you make me run and you got the silver, these are semi warhorses now and it works, he does them well. i would love to hear happy and little t and a which are his best rockers but im not convinced he can do them well, certainly not to the standards of the early 80,s.

in 2042 the band behind the stage will fall off and reveal themselves accidently. everyone on here will be discussing how the stones were so much better in the early days, of the steel wheels tour and how that the classic period came to a close. mick will finish his latest solo album and keith will write a book dissing his album and that he should write songs for the next stones album inste
