QuoteOpenG I think MT showed his talent with writing Slow Blues, Giddy Up and Spanish A Minor I think his two studio records were fantastic and he wasted his talent all those years after the stones and just collaborated with other artists to get by. I do not think Jeff Beck could of wrote a better blues composition then Slow Blues or a better tonal fushion masterpiece like Spanish A Minor. Just

Love this album. One of my first Stones LP’s so always a special thing for me. Also love the accompanying movie. When Keith sings the chorus to Time is on my side and he’s got that sort of rueful look on his face of the irony seemingly apparent at the time that they were surely almost at the end of their run. They weren’t even half way through!

QuoteTumblinDice76 Mariano, I'm actually in the very small minority that actually likes Dirty Work. Yes, several songs like Back to Zero and Winning Ugly real of 80s production and sound very outdated but I live the Chuck Berry sound of "Had it With you" the very by the Stones sounding title track. Harlem Shuffle is a solid cover and One Hit to the Bottom is a total gem. However, s

QuoteRonnierocks 21 May 1976 Earls Court Arena It was 44 years ago this week that I saw The Rolling Stones for the first time. I went to four of the six shows and get down the front twice to get a bit wet when Mick threw a bucket of water over the crowd. Anyone else have memories of it? I still see The Stones at least once on every tour since. I lived in Shepherds Bush, West London so got to

Looks like Euro plugs on the power supply for the amp in the second pic. So maybe he’s still in France. I guess Mick could pay some tax in the U.K. if he’s that keen on the NHS.

I guess it may be described as a modelling amp but the Blackstar id core series sound fantastic. The stereo on them is amazing you seriously think there’s another cabinet on the other side of the room. Really good built in fx. I know it’s probably not what you’re looking for but may be worth considering.

QuoteTheBadRabbit Quotevarilla Where does Charlie keeps all his gear? Does he have a drum kit at home? I seem to remember reading a bit from Charlie some years ago where he was talking about his dislike of touring, and he said something like: "If I want to play my drums, I have to go on the road with the band. I can't play them at home." The Stones used to have a facility in Lon
