Hate to hear that the new mix has too much reverb! Thankfully there are some ways to fix that with a DAW. There are plug-ins that actually reduce the reverb in a mix and for those without there are a few tricks which may help reducing the reverb. It involves creating tracks which are the SUM of the L and R tracks (basically a mono track) and a track which is the difference of the L and R track

Great performance somewhat reduced by a too wet mix and a squashed dynamic range mastering job. All things that can be corrected as DP points out (and apparently have per Bob Clearmountains emails to one of our own).
