as far as I can see on the pictures both bridges are original Fender. So replacing one with the other should be no problem and requiers zero woodworking. I don't think that altering this four years old US-series Telecaster should devalue the guitar. It is a player's guitar, not a collection piece. resotele

Hi it's not a Custom Shop guitar (and it's not stated by the seller on ebay that it is) can not determine the guitar. It should be a guitar from the Corona plant, a U.S. Vintage Series (as stated by the seller, made in 2012). The bridge on the guitar is a vintage spec three-barrel bridge, while the bridge on the last picture is a more modern 6-barrel job. To me the guitar l

QuoteHairball Quoteresotele Quotehopkins QuoteRockman , I turned 13 in July. What date in July Hopkins ??? 12 my birthday too (born 1954) resotele July 17, 1963. Interesting trivial factoid for this date: The number-one hit song in the U.S. on the day of my birth was Surf City by Jan and Dean. It all makes sense...I love Surf Music! and the 12th july is very important in

QuoteSilver Dagger I have them all. And they're all great. May I suggest a fourth choice - (but if not then Equal Rights) Yeah, Bunny; almost as good as Tosh ... and yes Catch a Fire Deluxe is great, but even better are Equal Rights and Legalize it Deluxe double CD's. Great Great Great resotele

Tosh all the times. He is the reason why I like Catch a fire (and other early Wailers stuff). Marley later on is a bit polished... Equal Rights is great, but so is Legalize It. Tosh the pot smokin' razor sharp guitargunslinger. resotele

QuoteTheGreek Look at the pensive look on Jagger's face as he is trying to work out a lick or a phrase either on the block neck Gibson 335 or a Gibson 330 (they don't look like P-90's from this angle of the photo but I am not sure). That is a very significant and most historic photograph .So I imagine this image is a Dominique Tarle photo? Isn't the guitar of pensive Mr Jagge

Quotedcba Pardon the heretic question but with today's studio tehnology is it really useful to use such great sounding guitars and amps. The possibility of fine-tuning guitar signals are so vast that to me tarcking with a good reissue guitara dn a good reissue amp are more than enough... Great sound inspires the musicians, especially in a band- and live setting. You play better, with more

QuoteIrelandCalling4 On one hand I can see why they are so written off; they went from one of the UKs premier rock acts in the 70s to light entertainers over the last quarter century. Zero credibility except to those that loved them. The output declined seriously from mid eighties to early 2000s though they did remain a serious live draw. are you talking about the Rolling Stones ?
