Keith's look after the scatological "Start Me Up" intro reminds me of this: ]

Quotecorriecas im just pointing out, Jagger should not act like a sissy. people will come out, take photographs etc. That will happen when you are famous. dont act like a woman, and hold on to someone. tell them to @#$%& off, and stand like a man. jeroen Tell it to John Lennon. Oh wait...

Bizarre that at least one version of all songs from these shows is not included in the general release.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Seemingly, the trouble finding the beat always occured while Keith played bass on this tour. It's amazing that it takes two minutes before Charlie notices his playing is not in sync with Keith's What do the Taylorites make of Santana's playing here? Is this from the boot "Hold On Tight", bleedingman? Sorry, DandelionPowderman, not sure. I

Some 1975 versions of this song weren't great. I saw the MSG run and Keith on bass entirely changed the dynamics, not in a good way, I feel. He looked good though. Clapton on guitar at this show didn't help much.

Quotecorriecas QuoteGOO So why did I buy this on iTunes? because you are naive. and you had better think twice... you know they are the stones and they want money money Money. I had warned that this would happen, but....dont listen to me ........ Jeroen I'm holding out for the "Super Duper Deluxe 50 & Still Counting Set" which will include "Sweet Summer Sun&quo

I wasn't at the show but I can still appreciate the enthusiasm of a younger audience than I saw at the one 50 and Counting show I attended. At Glastonbury most didn't know that the Stones would even be playing when they bought tickets. The PPV and "Shine A Light" were also pro-shot but to me neither is nearly as energetic as Glastonbury. Glastonbury is certainly filmed well

After all the "They'll never play again", "Keith can't play", "Superheavy", "Mick was out of breath", etc. speculation, then to actually see them up there working without a net, proving it's not necessarily over when one hits 70, bringing happiness and smiles to real "Glastonbury Girls" (as opposed to hired models) was sheer joy. I'm sure that at some point in the future more 50 & Counting Shows will be released. "Some Girls Live In Texas" was bestowed on us, wasn't it...eventually?

Curious that they left songs off the video content that are on the audio. I mean, if they feel the omitted songs *sound* good enough, how could they not *look* good enough? Runny noses? Bad poses? Or maybe the video and audio are NOT the same and the touch ups would be too obvious? I'm not complaining but it seems a bit of a waste of disc space, as well as a blown opportunity to present

Watch it. My first attempt at deciphering Mick's lyrics was when we played the "Satisfaction" 45 at 33 to try to figure out if he really sang "I'm trying to make some girl pregnant".

Thanks for the heads up, tatters! Thanks to you I got third row at the Beacon in the pre-sale! I saw Jeff's Les Paul show there and he captured the DVD quite nicely. Really looking forward to this.

I had my beloved Dan Armstrong plexiglass stolen in a burglary by some unsavory junkies I had the misfortune of being acquainted with. I also had my Gibson Melody Maker snatched from my hands late one night as I was returning from rehearsal in New York's West Side (I tried to fight but received a severe beating by the three thugs and watched my guitar carried off as I lay on the sidewalk).

This is a pleasant surprise! I'm really enjoying the "50 And Counting" Stones much more than the previous tour. This is so much better than the Phoenix release (which was okay), in my humble. Has anyone compared this to the boots?

Quotenightskyman McCartney was at Barclay Center (Brooklyn, NY) which would've been a good venue for me to see him perform....but I failed in my efforts at last minute tickets. I posted earlier that I was there and he was great. Primo seats, next to the stage. I had a Michael Jackson hair scare moment when the pyrotechnics went off during "Live and Let Die" though! Sorry yo

QuoteGravityBoy Quotedcba Just my opinion but too bad that King, for his 11/22/63 novel fell prey to the old and ridiculous idea that Lee harvey Oswald was the (lone) gunner. Wiki : "Oswald, who is vocal about his support for Communist causes, is depicted as an ill-tempered loner who acts out of a self-absorbed desire for fame". I had a hat when I came in and I hung it on the rack, And I'll have a hat when I go out or I'll break somebody's back; I'm a decent man, I am, I am, and I don't want to shout, But I had a hat when I came in and I'

Quotecrawdaddy Darryl is the perfect bass player for The Rolling Stones. Only other one that would fit in...............and add a bit of female glamour is Tal Wilkenfeld. She is a great bass guitarist. >< Saw her from 10 feet away, with Jeff Beck at Irving Plaza. Extraordinary talent. Would love to see her as a "special guest".
