Chuck is doing just 8 shows with David Gilmour from 27 June over 4 weeks. That allows for other opportunities...

Quotechriseganstar QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa Does anybody have this newspaper ad in on of them Stones books, or anything? I'm looking for this image in high-res... Somebody willing to share it with me? Look it up, and scan it, maybe? Thanx a milion - I'm going there (now called the Red Room) on Friday night for what may be the last ever night of the Ealing Blues Club. B

QuoteMartinB QuoteMrThompsonWooft Didn't like the venue. Too many tables crammed in. I left at about 11:15. yes, the venue was crap. Agree about the venue but if you missed the last hour, that was the best part - of the second show anyway

Quotecrawdaddy Yes ! I've seen Walter many times here in U.K. and later in year he will be back in Europe. Looks like 4 gigs at the moment in Germany. Walter Trout I saw him at the Albert Hall. He was great for 2 or 3 numbers and am sure he will soon be ready for more. He jammed with a brilliant English blues guy of 23 called Laurence Jones. Good luck to both these talented guys

QuoteCloudCat QuoteNikkei They might not stitch more stadium dates onto the ongoing tour, but they still have an open tab at MSG. indeed they do I saw John Mayall in London last year. He was 80. He was a way better performer that at the age of 74 and he had new material. These guys just love playing live. I don't see why the Stones cannot do the same in some form - no doubt not a stadium.

If you like the Stones and like jazz, you will love it. When I saw them in London after Hyde Park, Charlie also guested for 2 numbers! A great surprise when you're on the front row. Bernard has an amazing voice.

Quotecrawdaddy A few years ago saw Ronnie and The Faces just down the road from Kingston, where I lived, front row at Teddington Studios. Free tix and Ronnie having a chat about past times, with Rob Brydon, the host. Times change if they charge an arm and a leg for same sort of thing. £45 for an interview! Wonder what's in the goodie bag!

I thought this tread was looking forward to 2015 - not analysing problems on the BB tour. I saw the band in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and I hope to see them in 2015! Let's look forward..

Interestingly Ben Waters has blanked out the whole of July and August 2015 from his gig diary - unheard of for him!

Crawdaddy - You are right. I was on the front row after the Hyde park gig last year. Yes Charlie did guest for a couple of numbers and he was great but they are a great band on their own. It makes you realise how much detail and commitment goes into a Stones show. It also gives you a different flavour of the blues roots to the music. Chuck also played at that show. They are all passionate about
