Quotetreaclefingers QuoteBJPortugal I didn't think that Under My Radar or PMS are the best songs since 83... Anyway, i pick PMS. Well fair enough...give us you're best pick then, any song AFTER undercover. IMHO, Saint of Me >< Even Out of Control is better than PMS and Under The Radar

Imo, its irrelevant who is out of tune. The European 67 Tour was great and the recorded Paris a highlight. They provided us great versions of Under my Thumb, Paint it, Black, two unique medleys(Get off/Yesterday's Pappers and Goin Home/ Satisfaction) and a chance to hear live Ruby Tuesday with Brian. One of the best performances of The Rolling Stones that i ever heard

Bridges to Babylon is the last good Rolling Stones album. And, definitely, their best in the 90's. IMO,Saint of Me and Out of Control are the last two great Rolling Stones songs.

Quoteash QuoteBJPortugal When i heard that The Doors was going to release new mixes from the original reels.. i was a little bit skeptical, but, the skepticism runs away at the first listen. Now, i prefer the new mixes. It would be great that all the early Stones catalog(64-72) get the same treatment personally i disagree..like i mentioned earlier, roadhouse blues seems to have lost all its b

The only inspiration on "Goin Home" to The Doors was his length. So, the great length of Goin Home inspired Morrison to extend a 2/3 minute simple goodbye love song to a great dramatic oedipal song. No other similarities have been found. Midnight Rambler was clearly inspired in When The Music's Over. Especially the "climax" when Jagger sings "Well you heard about

QuoteGumbootCloggeroo QuoteNoCode0680 is there a single song that was written without Kurt? He wrote most of it himself, and there are a couple where the other guys are credited, but did anybody else write a song? I can't think of any. Marigold, b-side to Heart Shaped Box, written by Dave Grohl. With Dave on guitar and Kurt on drums

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteBJPortugal whats songs in EOMS we can think "wow, they nailed it"? Ok, maybe Let it loose or Tumbling Dice? You're kidding right? Rocks Off, Shine A Light, Sweet Virginia, Loving Cup, All Down The Line, Tumbling Dice, Let It Loose, Rip This Joint, Casino Boogie... Have you listened to all the songs?Anway, I think Exile lacked a bit of definition.

Lyrically is, clearly, the best record. Sympathy, SFM and NE are top level. In LIB, we have Gimmie Shelter, in SF, Moonlight Mile, and in EOMS, honestly, i cant see any top level lyrics. Musically, along with SF. LIB is ok, but it lacks in some songs. EOMS is the most weak of the top four, IMO. Of course that is a matter of taste, but whats songs in EOMS we can think "wow, they nailed

Beggars Banquet its way better than Let it Bleed Let it bleed had some great highlights like You Cant Always Get What You Want, Midnight Rambler, You Got the Silver and Gimmie Shelter. Others are beyond average and had no history at all. IMO, Beggar's is a more consisted album. Can we pick a average song? Prodigal Son? Salt of the Earth? Dear Doctor? I dont think so. So, Beggars is
