Quotemickschix Whether people and fans care to recognize it or not, Mick has BEEN very political throughout the ages. I know some folks here have made comments saying they think he should keep his politics to himself, I have always applauded his taking a stand, whether it was his Anti-Bush remarks in " Sweet Neo -Con" or currently making fun of Trump's stupid remarks regarding air

A little late, but I have to confess one more time: My Love for the Rolling Stones started with this song!--> see my name! Well I was a teenager and fell in Love with Mick singing it....then I bought my first RS LP "It´s only Rock n Roll" and after many years, records and tours - I´m grown up a little but still in Love with the Stones....

The comments on the youtube video are not very nice. People commenting on her voice instead of honouring her work... well, that´s not fair!

Well, now I trust my intuition even more, as from the beginning on, after all those statements were posted, I was thinking that the most vulnarable part of Mick´s body is his heart....and I don´t need any more speculations or reports. I think he and the management were dealing very professional with this issue. But it was only a matter of time that the truth comes out (I think it´s true concern

My older cousin had this Mick Jagger Poster on his bedroom wall, that came with "The Rolling Stones - Decca 1970 Germany" LP and my comment was: "This guy looks like a monkey"....Later on when Goat´s Head Soup was released he played it on our record player and this time my comment was: "This guy (Mick) on the cover looks like a women"...., well, I only was a 10, 11 y

Quote35love Quotedesertblues68 Rooster ballet :-). Good! Yeah good - but there´s so much more to create - bring it on, bring it on to the public....express yourself Melanie Hamrick in your own style....it won´t be a new invention, but a contribution to art and that´s a lot....

I was always thinking that for example "Continental Drift" is underrated, and supposed to be a great opener somewhere...may be for the ballet....that would be great!!!...we will see....

Most people are not qualified to discuss ballet. We don´t need to discuss ballet, but isnt´t it nice that Mick supports Melanie Hamrick for this project. I like it and wish her full success!!

This is a Rolling Stones Board and as I said they are much more than a Rock n Roll band....and therefore discussions and topics should have a certain variety, most likely üp to date what´s happening...And that´s not only about the music all the time....imho...

Rolling Stones Fans....Why aren´t you interested in this topic ?? The Stones are much more than a band. And besides the tour, working for new music, making films, enjoying private life there are some other Rolling Stones topics, that are interesting..even if it´s only Mick with a new project he´s doing with the mother of his child or may be his girlfriend... I have the impression even

QuoteNeverMakeASaintOfMe I'm 17 years old and I view every member of that band as "young" and I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that 75 years old is "old" because of them. They have completely changed my perception of people that are elderly. Very good that you changed your view! Age is individual - for example: Stones seem to be "younger" th

Quotekeefriffhard4life watched the totally stripped shows right now btw and imo this was the last time the stones seemed and looked cool. after that they seemed to slowly become a self parody Thanks God, Stones did not become a self parody imo - they have changed and are better and cooler than ever (cooler=more authentic, just for the joy of it)!!!! Everybody enjoy the US Tour, AND I hope there

I remember "Let the good times roll" and "Just what I needed" quite well. May be the Cars were not really big in Europe - but people who were interested in music and in those days life style, did listen to their music - especially to their first album which was (is) great. Thanks for the reminder!!

Very interesting thread – Jeroen´s statement (Black&Blue) also made me think.....as I didn´t like it (sorry) Yes, the Stones used to cause „cognitive dissonance“ on me, in former times when I was young– especially the drug thing and the misogynic attitude – the last one is still an issue for me. I also couldn´t cope with some albums when I listened to them first (some are my favorites now)

Quoteslewan "Der Meister der Kehrwoche: Ronnie Wood" (Stuttgart 30.6.18) (and the schwäbischen Spießer laughed but didn't get the fact that Jagger was poking fun at them) "Er ist arm, aber sexy - Ronnie Wood" (Berlin 22.6.18, "arm aber sexy" (poor but sexy) is a phase coined by a former Berlin mayor and has become some kind of inoffical slogan for Berlin).
