Remember this? This was supposed to be the pièce de résistance of Live Aid back in 1985. Is this the worst gig of all time?

6.3 on the Richter-scale is huge! Hope everyone is well. Experienced 3.8 last summer and it felt like a tank company passing just outside my door. I can't imagine 6.3!

Sure 24FPS, I've seen it before too. But it's been a while. I stumbled upon it by chance and I couldn't help laughing at it again. But maybe I'm just silly?

It took some time to figure out whether it was appropriate to weather my thoughts about this misspelling! I didn't want to look like a wise guy!

Southern Comfort is neither Whiskey nor Bourbon. Wikipedia: "Southern Comfort is a fruit, spice and whiskey flavored liqueur made from neutral spirits and produced since 1874—though not continuously and not always by the modern formula. The brand was created by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron in New Orleans, when he wanted to make a better tasting whiskey."

Mackmyra, one of very few Swedish whiskys. Named after the village Mackmyra in Gästrikland, Sweden. Haven't tried it yet, perhaps I will someday!

Bourbon, Wikipedia: "Bourbon is a type of American whiskey – a distilled spirit made primarily from corn (maize). The name of the spirit derives from its historical association with an area known as Old Bourbon, around what is now Bourbon County, Kentucky (which, in turn, got its name from the French House of Bourbon royal family). It has been produced since the 18th century. While it may be

Prefers single malts but I must admit that I have a sweet tooth for Jameson too. Jameson was the main ingredient in Irish Coffee; a coffee drink that was very popular years ago.

Maybe I shouldn't have intervened in this polemic controversy between Skipstone and Brue? It's actually very amusing. And you learn new words too! So by all means gentlemen: Carry on. But stay away from hits below the belt!

Read most parts of the Jann Wenner interview. A good interview by someone who actually cares about the music. It's interesting to know that Jagger thinks "Exile" is overrated and that "Tattoo You" was made, almost, solely by him (and Clearmountain). He speaks well about "Some Girls" but seems to be disappointed with "Wheels" and "Voodoo". And

Bottniska viken (part of the Baltic Sea) has frozen which means that we will have inlandclimate here in the north of Sweden. That means that the temperatures will drop quite dramatically for quite a while. We have had temperatures between minus 20 and 30 degrees Celsius here for more than a week. Kiruna (far north of Sweden) had - 42.6 C a couple of days ago. The funny thing is that you get used

Thanks Rocky! Germans book didn't recieve much attention (in contrast to Keith's book) outside the fan-quarters here in Sweden. It wasn't reviewed in the papers or translated to Swedish. So my local library will never have it. You can buy it though (the English version) for about 18 Euro. Maybe I will!

Does he think there will be a last Rolling Stones tour? If he met Mick on the street one day - would he be ignored? Did he receive any salary from the Stones during all these years? If not: How did he support himself? How many Stones concerts has he seen? Which one was his favourite? Is he unemployed?

Thanks Jaggerzita for the clip! Nice to watch. What's the deal with Jagger and black Mercedes S-class? I recognize the bloke who opens the door for Jagger: Is he Jagger's personal bodyguard? What does he do inbetween tours? Follow Jagger around fulltime?

Watched the TAMI show. Excellent picture quality for a 1964 show. It isn't bad, doesn't grab me though. Can't really explain why. Guess I'll stick to the post 68`period in the future too. You can't love em`all!

The Rolling Stones toured Sweden in 1965,66 and 67. They recieved very bad reviews in the press. The concerts were very short and apparently you couldn't hear much of it due to screaming girls and poor audio. Personally I consider Beggars Banquet as the first "modern" Stones album. I don't care much about the pre-68 Rolling Stones, at least when it comes albums and concerts. I

Thanks for the graphs, Joker! If you look at the blue graph you could place my level of interest now at about 0.8 on the abscissa. My interest kind of peaked around 1995 (0 on the abscissa, in my case). Where would you place yourself?
