Right on! And I was just listening to a few boot LPs from various shows of the 1969 American tour. Always nice to hear something new from that time.

QuoteDECCA61 that guy has taken soooo many great pictures, on his website .. stones, the who, floyd, zeppelin, csny, joe walsh and many more wonderful wonderful pictures How does one narrow to a search of Rolling Stones photos specifically? I couldn't find a search option. After flipping through page after page of Supertramp photos, I gave up.

Wow, this news really knocked the wind out of me. I just assumed he would always be around, like I assume that the Stones would always be around. Very sad news. My condolences to his family and friends.

Quotetreaclefingers Just bought this for $89 Black Friday special, for my 8 year old son for Christmas: Now THAT will be the easiest setup ever! OK true, probably not audiophile quality, but he will enjoy it immensely! I bet he will. What a great present! BTW, I have a three-year-old son and he is fascinated by LPs. When he gets a few years older, I will get him something like

How are his kids? You don't hear about them like you do with Mick Jagger's or Keith Richard's. BTW, how many kids did BJ have?

DW Drums would be the best choice for the budget-conscious. I have seen three-piece starter kits selling (used) for less than two grand. You can build up from there over time without breaking the bank. And Neil Peart uses them so you know they can take a pounding.

Quotedcba Unlike "Breaking Bad" it's getting worse with each season. LOL. I wouldn't mind a bowl of whatever you are smoking because, if you believe that, you're flying high. Homeland blows Breaking Bad(ly) out of the water.

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteMILKYWAY QuoteNedKellyBandit I have 18 copies of Goats Head Soup. 17 on Vinyl and 1 on CD. Um, pourquoi? Parce-que he wants to. That's as good a reason as any, I guess. I just felt I had found a kindred spirit. I love that album but only have four or five copies of it.

I really like the 1971 Radio Bremen show that's available as a bootleg. The show is also on youtube. It's really just Florian with Michael Rother on guitar and Klaus Dinger on drums. But it's not like the Kraftwerk from Autobahn on. EDIT: Wrong year, changed from 1970 to 1971.

Quoteblivet Maybe it's because he became rich and famous slightly later in life than the other Stones, but it often seems as though Bill is the only one of the bunch who remained a normal human being. I guess it depends on your idea of "normal".

I have always liked it. Such great tunes. Doo Doo etc. is great. Funky. Angie pulls at your heart-strings. Dancing with Mr. D and 100 Years Ago sounded great, too bad we haven't heard them much since. Star Star was good for a few giggles. I have a decent recording of it from (I believe) Newcastle? I especially liked Hide Your Love, though no one else seems to. Nice, bounc
