Quotechris girard The Stones began as a blues band playing covers of famous blues songs, why not end it the way began. How about a set list of blues songs they wrote or some of the covers they began with. They are a great blues band. I don't really see a two hours show in a 70K stadium full of Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Bo Diddley songs in a stage of 100 mts.

It's funny the "overdubbing" point of the official live releases (Get yer ya-ya's - Mick's vocals, some guitars; Love you live, vocals at least; Still life, vocals; Flashpoint and all the rest until now, vocals, and some stuff) When they tried the "Unreleased Decca Live album" of the '72 tour, they also make overdubbing (Hopkins pianos, Vocals and even guit

I still can't believe that some fans still think the official "The Who was better than Stones that night" was true. Listen to Live at Leeds, or any other show, specially 1973. The Who didn't sound the good they can, and the Stones give a great show. Not their best, but a very good one. They were looking for new way of expression, and this is what I hear on the Circus.

I agree at a point, I don't like Dr. Robert, Good day sunshine, sounds so "muddy", but the rest of the album is amazing. Eleanor Rigby, Tomorrow never knows, Love you to, For no one, one of their greatest. But still I love more Rubber Soul (except the horrible Ringo's number)

Quotethabo Quotedandelion1967 - What do you remember of the Stones in Brian Jones’ era? Do you think they lost something after his death? - Yes, That's when things started to get very monotonous. All of his albums since "Their Satanic Majesties" to "Let it bleed" included, were quite different. As a direct kind of thing, strong. After that, "Sticky Fingers", &q

Thsi interview of Nicky was made for the "Expreso imaginario" (Imaginary Express) magazine in 1977, when Nicky came to Argentina as part of the Joe Cocker' band. Nicky seem to be amazed by the thing that no bands ever have come to Argentina... being Joe Cocker the secong one (Santana played first). It is intresting to see the oppinion he have on the Stones in 1977... Translat
