I recently heard a few of these songs at a wedding - the groom was a big fan and I'm a fan now too - this guy is pretty spot on for a classic 50's sound. The second track below has a great Bo Diddley tremolo sound. Great job with "Carol" below too.. let me know what you think.

I love it - I wonder if it might be a good idea to have this as some type of online petition too!

Can anyone comment on the booklet that comes with the CDs? I have about 90% of this music already but to have a nice booklet and a couple songs I'm missing wouldn't be all bad I guess...

I just wish they would release a good modern live version of She's a Rainbow. I almost think I could go the rest of my life without another live version of Honky Tonk Woman - I just checked and I have 22 versions in my Itunes LOL

Well, I'm not sure artwork was really a strength for our boys LOL. I think my fav would be "Sticky Fingers" but a close second could be the original "Some Girls"

Wow - incredible - They were really hitting all cylinders at Chess - it would be amazing to have a boxed set of those sessions some day.

Well nice to see the song get a new life but makes me sad to hear my classics "selling soap". Have the Stones release a modern day live version officially yet???? Somehow it seems to have been missed in all the recent DVDs, Live CDs and Vault series!!

Quotemidnrambler If it will be the same as with Satanic Majesties we can forget it. AGREE - If no bonus studio outtakes they can keep it

The Some Girls Deluxe set was the biggest missed opportunity ever!! The list of cool little outtakes fun songs from second golden period of 1977-1978 could fill 3 or 4 CDs - I hope we get a second shot someday.

My son is in a brass band (no damn loud guitars LOL) and I've been getting great photos using my Nikon D7200 and when the lighting is good just using my iPhone. My problem however, has been capturing really good audio - neither camera does it very well and I was wondering if anyone has had some luck capturing some good sound in concerts and which type of camera to use or the new devices tha

“Claudine” came on my shuffle play today. I was glad this got an official release but disappointed overall with so many great omissions. Has anyone compiled a list of what should have been on this?

That is a pretty serious list of great music - wow all in one year. Must have been expensive to be a big music fan that year! I think as far as studio albums I'd give the nod to Lennon's as the best - it's still an amazing record imo. Cat Stevens, Rod Stewart, CCR, Harrison - all pretty amazing too. It's kind of funny, I think 1970 was the first calendar year the Stones did

I was always bummed a great version of Gimmee Shelter was not on this album and when I bought the deluxe version a few years ago and added the tracks to my iTunes, I added Gimmee Shelter from Brussels as my own bonus track! The vibe fits right in. I know - blasphemy LOL
