QuoteMizzAmandaJonez The Rolling Stones. Always ahead of their time, always adapting to change, or in many cases...change follows their lead as they are the trendsetters. This is the history of the greatest rock and roll band in the world, and that history is still being written. Lucky us, or lucky for those who appreciate their efforts. As BV states..."This is the place for

Quotebv I understand there are lots of emotions regarding the replacement of Charlie on the coming tour. What I do NOT understand, is why some people want to enforce their own choices and opinions on others. If you do not like to see the Stones live without Charlie, then fine. But why do you expect others to have the very same opinion? I have a pragmatic view of life. When I bought Sticky

When you see some names appearing in a hread chat there is only one advice: You better run, run, run. To another thread. This here for instance is about JM producing one of the best Stones album of all times. And what happened? After 3 posts we land at Johnny Thunder is a pig, heroin, Motorhead... This site was, is and will always be about fun and passion. And not a garbage can for grumpy o

Quotejbwelda Kind of funny stance for a band that claimed blues songs as their own compositions. jb What a stupid off topic post. Again by you. And like always: Negative, bad mooded totally destructive and grudgingly. Hold my self back to say this for a long time. But this one was one too much. Just deleted you from my account (which is possible). So that I can no longer read yo

Quotejbwelda Jagger wishes he could sing like Tom Jones. And thats not a new thing. jb So you are in the "Jagger wihtout Mick-Club". It's Mick Jagger by the way. The reason why this band is existing so long. The main reason combined with Keih Richards guitar why it sounds different since 1962. The voice of our life.

You are all right here. But: The main question is What is meant by the word „gracefully“ Imo it could have 1000 different ways to live up to. In the eyes of my stubborn dull neighbour people who still listen to Rock and Pop in their 60ies and 70ies are poor fools. In the eyes of his attractive 25 years old daughter people like us have grace. A lot of. The great word gracefull deserves

Its a bit off subject, but thinking of warm up shows I think parallel about the gig after the warm up show: The Tour Opening Shows. I always thought: I have to see the tour opener. After that I am full and satisfied and not hungry anymore for any more tour gigs. Let them play where and to whom they want afterwards: I have seen the 1st gig! I belong to the ones who already seen it! I am ahe

1. Mostly it start with the general wish of the band to do a warm up show before a tour start. 2. The band doesn't wanna fly to the gig so it is always in the town/area of the rehearsal-place. Like 2002: July/August rehearsal in Old Masonic Temple Toronto and then Fri Aug.16 Warm Up Show in Palais Royale Ballroom, Toronto, Like 2005:July Aug Rehearsals Toronto and Wed Aug 10 Warm U

QuoteLeonidP Quotebitusa2012 QuoteBastion Quotestillife Not a classic for sure, and we tend to compare with classic Stones. But for sure better song than 80% of what is release nowadays. Yet again... this ridiculous comment. Simply untrue. Why is it simply untrue? It’s the OPs opinion. In their OPINION it’s true that this song is better than 80% of what’s released nowadays. They are wrong
