Sorry I am not native. And was in a rush. And even desribing Stones members in two words is a hard attempt. Let me correct this into: "natural born frontman" But what do you think about my point general?

Well, lets go back to the starting point of this thread. 1. This is the first thread in 14 years with iorr, where someone is critized for how he feels about his 2+hours live with the Rolling Stones. 2. We have to divide this forum into two camps: The ones who go to see them live. And those who doesn´t. Or haven´t seen them a long long time. 3. For those who still follow the band into th

Re: Dusseldorf Germany travel and show info - The Rolling Stones No Filter Tour 2017 Posted by: StonedRambler () Date: October 8, 2017 23:55 It's a Rock'n'Roll show and if people have bad legs I'm sorry about them but if they need to sit down the whole show they can still buy a stadium seat. But many people have no leg deasease, but as they get older their muscles get wea

As a Stones-Fan-Veteran I tell everybody who is a late Stones-beginner who want to dive into Stones-Land: Go and see the Rolling Stones in Barcelona! After Franco died in 1975 and his brutal regime left and the country and its people start to breathe and live again, guess who was the first band who was aloud to play in spain: The Stones. In Barcelona. When they came to Plaza de Toros

Well for time of the band on the stage - I prefer clubs or arenas. BUT: At a stadium gigs I had my perfect days out. Everywhere in the world. 1. Even you have no ticket or need some additional for friends - go early, you will find some family-fathers who are desperate to ged rid of their tickest because they forgot grandmothers birthday, their daughters wedding etc. when they bouht them 3 m

Quotelatebloomer Some of the music is mighty mighty fine, though. Yes indeed with sssoul, and some of the performance footage is too. Yeah, right and even some good rareties - but on the whole, well see above.

After 4 years I managed to see Crossfire. And very soon I know why I avoided to look at it by instinct for so long time. It is definetely the badest editet, recherched and arranged piece of film I even saw from my band. Band-historical timelines are mixed up to a weird cocktail. To scenes and pictures we hear songs not even recoirder in the time of the foto/film Material. The quotes of the

It depends of what kind of my Stones I´m in the mood for. 1. Biggest Act in the World-Stones = Definetely Stadium Nou Camp/Estadio Olympico Barcelona (Best crowd in Europe) 2. Greatest Rock´n Roll Band of the World = Defintely Arenas Madison Square Garden (nor more words needed) 3. Still so much there from the eraly days-Stones = Definetely Theatres/Clubs L'Olympia, Paris (

Please, I need your help. I´m looking for a photo from Zip Code or Olé Tour: Perspective: You look over Charlies Drum Kit into the massive crowd minutes befor the show. No glue in which "Live Comments" to find it. May be one of you sisters & brothers have.

Drew, Nicos, Silverdragger - yes!!! And: "You can´t always get what you want" jumped into my life by age of 19. Still in my late, late teens and a real late-developer, it gave me the most important kick of all Stones songs until today: 1. It taught me that my illusions and visions can be destroyed. 2. It taught me in the same second, that even this above is a fact, on the o

What are your "Charly´s best drumming moments". I think whenever he is going into the technique, where he is still the world wide Rock´n Roll-champion: THE OFF BEAT. For instance here just four examples: "Street Fighting Man" "Wild Horses" "Some Girls" "We love you" "She´s a Rainbow"

Quotethecitadel We met Pierre and some of his team as they left their hotel (not the band's hotel) on the day of the Pittsburgh gig in 2015. We had just had brunch - jsut a co-incidence we met. He was very friendly, took a picture of us, and we had a chat about how the weather would impact the gig - he said it kept the band on their toes! Pierre is the main man. Since nearly 20 years.

Well....first of all: some iorr'ers and of course the poster of this thread, are expressing their love to their band by being critical in every single aspect and thinking always about new aspects to be critical about. and....second: The Stones have an enormous power left at 70something for being 2 hours on stage. Long jam´s would cut the number of songs down to 12-14. yes....then guess:

Was in the Olympia, Paris Monday July 3, 1995. Where "Shine A Light" was recorded for this album. With earphones listening to this song in december that year, I was surprised to hear my voice in the background along the opening lines of Mick. Still do it today from time to time.:-))))))

Hey Pecman, your six albums - they make a damn good setlist, most of us here would love to here in a future gig. Just guess: 1. It´s only Rock´n Roll 2. If you can’t rock me 3. Hand of fate 4. Silver Train 5. Undercover of the night 6. Dance, Pt.1 7. Angie 8. Heartbreaker 9. Let me go 10. She was hot 11. Sleep Tonight (KR) 12. All about you (KR) 13. She´s so cold 14.
