Quotestargroover Why did those so called victims wait all these years? Because victims of abuse are terrified of their abusers. Simple as that.

May is a soppy old hippy with skewed priorities. He should be more concerned about the welfare of his fellow man that some borderline parasitic vermin in his garden. He has the moral values of an eight year old girl. Can't believe he's still sporting that ridiculous barnet, either. The man is a joke.

Quoteab Pretty weak of the authorities, IMO. According to the mayor of London being interviewed on the radio today, it was the promotors and not the "authorities" who pulled the plug. Either way, I'm glad this concert wasn't allowed to continue regardless of who it was disturbing. Springsteen should've behaved like a professional and paced his gig accordingly. Ther

I'm going to their concert in London tomorrow. Love the single but am nervous about how shot Paul's voice is now, he sounded pretty horrible in Oslo on Saturday.

Never liked the sound of this or any of the Stripped album. There was something really flat and soulless about it.

Turned it off as soon as Jagger started singing. Horrible.

Exactly the same as how I feel about I Go Wild. Saint Of Me is terrible, of course, but doesn't make me seethe quite so much as IGW.

Jack White's production and playing on Loretta Lynn's Van Lear Rose album is absolutely amazing, perfect country blues album.

QuoteBärs The writing might be lazy, but live it offers opportunities for fun interplay and interesting musical details. Check out Stockholm 1995: For me, everything about that clip is just horrible - weedy, thin guitars, Jagger's annoying voice, grating backing vocals, and a flat, lifeless song. I Go Wild is easily amongst their 10 worst songs, top 5, even.

QuoteNICOS Are you sure these songs are not on your local drive? Yeah positive. Don't have any Stones MP3s on my computer apart from boots like Conquer America etc etc. I do have a Spotify Premium account, though, maybe certain albums are only visible for premium members?

Gotta hand it to the Stones, and I'd wager this is Mick's doing to keep them current, but pretty much the entire Stones back catalogue is available for streaming on Spotify. New releases like Some Girls and Exile were available as soon as they're launched, as were the singles box set and remastered Ya Ya's. EU and US versions of 12x5, Aftermath, December's Children, H

I've been listening to the Stones since 11am (UK time) watched a few concert films (Park, Shelter, Texas) and have got through two bottles of fine red in the great man's honour. Tonight I'm starting on the Whisky. More fun than my own birthday! Cheers Keith.

I'm listening to the bonus disc now, LOVING it, and enjoying it for what it is, not what it isn't or could've been. It's like having a brand new Stones album from their prime years! This release is focussed and ultimately listenable, if it were laden down with too much content (like the Beatles anthology sets) I fear it would be a much less listenable and compelling album.

One of the most overrated "musicians" in history. Terrible guitarist, horrific singer, and clumsy, mawkish, juvenile lyricist.

No Mercy is my "go to" Dylan album. Love the late night atmosphere and laid back feel of the production. What Good Am I, Disease Of Conceit, What Was It You Wanted, Man In The Long Black Coat, Ring Them Bells, Most Of The Time, the entire album is magnificent. Never listen to his earlier albums these days, but Oh Mercy gets spinned at least once a week, sometimes daily. In my top 5 a

Glad it didn't happen. Rubin's production was perfect (as Sleepy City said, Don Was would've ruined it) and that proposed tracklist in the original post is horrific. Always hated Voodoo Lounge, and that tracklist up there represents the absolute worst of that POS album.

Didn't Keith describe Ronnie's voice as "the kind of voice only a mother could love"? Always loved this album, blinding vocal contribution from Rod Stewart. Wish he was on more of the album.
