Around here there is always lots to choose from and chances are I would see a show anyway as I tend to always go on my own terms and spend what I want to spend. I know they aren't in their prime but they aren't at the same quality of performance as a year or two ago. This thing has "victory lap" and contractual obligation written all over it.

I for one am not envious. Seen them plenty of times in the U.S. After hearing the Budapest show, I think it's best if they DON'T come back. And just because Ron Wood is going to be in Vegas doesn't mean the rest of the band will. These guys occassionally do fly to places on their own.

I saw the 2004 show at the Universal. I kinda wanted to go in 1993 but something else was going on that night.

Keeping with tradition I think the 3rd show will be a little bit shorter than the others.

All sorts of stuff. I wouldn't even be able to narrow it down to my top 50. Lately I have been listening to the Jesus Lizard daily. Going to see Tegan And Sara tonight and maybe tomorrow.

It would be big - a few hundred million over the course of a few years - but not THAT big. And even though the venues aren't always full, Axl is probably making just as much money as he would during a reunion since he doesn't have to split the pie.

Ramones 1995-1996 "Adios Amigos" Tour. They extended it by 6 months when they were offered the Lollapalooza tour but they kept their word once it was over. I saw the last 3 shows. The 3rd to last was the best of the 3. The last one was just too depressing.

Farewell Tours - Emotional Blackmail. I was at the last ever Ramones show and it had a depressing funeral type atmosphere. Rock N Roll is about life and celebration. Enjoy each gig for what it is.
