Been to loads of short shows and only a few was I disappointed. Spending 75 mins in a mosh pit or getting stagedived on is the equivalent and standing in front of a chair for 12 hours. Guns N Roses allegedly played to 7 million people from 1991-1993 though most stadium shows aside from the tour with Metallica were outside the U.S. The Pink Floyd 1987-1989 tour also played to a lot of people though the first part was a lot of indoor shows. At one point the top grossing tour of all time was the Jackson 5 Victory tour but that record didn't last long.
