To me it sounds like Atlantic City version. Namely, the mix form The Singles 1971-2006 box set, disc 33. The same mix, not that squashed in terms of dynamics and loudness was also used on 1991 singles Ruby Tuesday [656892 2] and Japanese Sexdrive That is an official channel, thus, you can not expect something illegal.

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 This first time I heard this song was from a bootleg that had both this song and Everything is Turning to Gold. There was a ton of crackles in the song, like it was copied from another album or 45. I like the song personally. Has it appeared on any of the box sets? THE SINGLES 1971-2006 (first edition had issues with this song, second edition

QuoteShott I haven't listened to No Security in a while but doesn't Mick say it on the album? That song was only on Japanese version of the album as bonus track. It was not on a regular/ worldwide edition. And, no, those words are not present on Japanese No Security.

QuoteShott I think it is No Security era. It is No Security era if you trust to what is written in the booklet of Rarities 1971-2003 . But in reality that take/version is July 6, 1990, Wembley.

Quoteretired_dog QuoteTurner Can someone point me to the correct release of a live performance where Mick begins by saying something like "we used to play this fast but now we play it slow"? I thought it was on Flashpoint but no luck. Flashpoint-era, but not on the Flashpoint album: "I Just Want To Make Love To You" live from Wembley 1990, released on the "Highwire&quo

Not entirely sure, but I think this is all the material released from concerts in recent years (sorted by concert date from BBC Sessions to Racket show). Only physical editions so no "

QuoteJalfstra 30 years.. I remember well when the CBS collection was replaced by this Virgin catalogue. I bought them all at the time. 30 years is also the estimated lifespan of CDs due to bit rot and disc rot. How are the copies of these Virgin CDs of the members here doing? Everything is OK with mine. Both with Japanese versions and with European. Some of which are from stamplers like 1-1-2-

QuoteIrix Quotetioms Is this with a short "Tell Me"? Wait until release date since there're currently no infos about the runtimes. Maybe they'll use the same master like for the 2024 RSD release - . Will somebody actually open and play the record to figure out the length of the track? I am shocked!

Quotekowalski Thank you so much. I was wondering about the mastering of these CDs but I understand it's the same as the original Virgin CDs. Virgin remasters are the same for the whole world. There are a few minor (almost insignificant) differences. But overall, exotic pressings are for those who collect them. Otherwise, any edition will do. Here is the list of Japanese. Jump Back

Quotekowalski Ironbelly, thank you for this excellent post. Very informative. Do you know anything about this boxset released in 2005 in Japan ? You are welcome. That box was issued together with A Bigger Bang CD on August 31, 2005. It was used to promote that album and the start of A Bigger Bang Tour. Only 10000 boxes were made. It is very nice collector's toy. The packaging is outs

QuoteGasLightStreet You said it could be different so... and I didn't edit my comment fully, I got sidetracked - it's my belief that the single edit, which is on the Virgin LP, is just an edit of the Dirty Hands mix - the mix sounds identical where as the Club Version is slightly different. Ha ha. So far, aside from Ludwig restoring Slave and Luxury, right?, and was Fingerprint'

Quotewiredallnight I found a FLAC rip of the BMG promo CD. It is definitively the Flashpoint album version, only a bit compressed and made louder (as usual): There is no Extended Dirty Hands Mix existing!!! That was a hoax! Thank you very much! And it runs a bit faster, like I mentioned before. What a mess!

QuoteGasLightStreet What a bizarre promo comp. One More Shot and Sex Drive in 2013... on what? The BMG comp? Is One More Shot a different mix? That's strange. Someone at BMG needs their head examined: Winning Ugly? Sweethearts Together? Sharks Will Cry? Get Juiced? Yikes. That is the old story from 2013 It was discussed here at the time. That promo 2CD-R compilation is real. It

Also Tattoo You was the very first CD of the band ever. It was issued on July 21, 1983 by Toshiba-EMI in Japan with 'black triangle' label. And the early pressings were even w/o traditional OBI but with 'Gold Price Sticker'. A kind of extreme collector's rarity that sticker is.
