my fear is that they will keep dicking around and talking about it instead of doing anything - the longer Charlie sits idle the more of a chance that he won't feel like screwing with it - he's closer to 80 than 70 - i'm scared to death Charlie will bow out and that fool Dave Grohl will offer to step in - honestly i don't know what the hold up is - other than being old they

they aren't doing anything...it's really disgusting to be honest - but if they don't have the inspiration or the motivation then maybe it's for the best - there is probably a lot of anxiety on Mick's part - cuz it'll be the last album and he knows it and they are going up against their legacy - even if they put out an album tomorrow there would certainly not be anoth

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotebitusa2012 I like it. But the video? Now, I’m a red blooded male. But that’s crass from a band pushing into their 80s. Do they really think in 2020, that’s appropriate? I remember many of us squirmed with Keith’s “Bare your breasts And let me feel at home” line, at his age, from This Place is Empty in 2005. 15 years later we get this tawdry video... After the refreshin

Charlie looks like a typical man in his late 70's to me - the picture is in daylight with no makeup or Photoshop - he's probably in better physical shape than a lot of us on this forum...

Quotetumbled I can't believe that guy asked the stones v. beatles dum arse question that has been asked for millenia. argh! Stern was kissing Paul's ass the way he does everyone now - the old Stern would've asked - "How come Mick's voice has held up better than yours ?"

there is no way anyone living in reality can say this was good - yes mick and ron seem to be into it - but keith isn't even playing and charlie's mime joke isn't funny after the first 30 seconds - perhaps he and keith should've switched off...

haven't been interested since 1997 when that 3rd overblown album came out- it takes Liam and 3-4 guys to write his lame/derivative songs - at least Noel (for the most part) writes his lame/derivative songs on his own...

i think one thing that hampers Keith (aside from age) is that he probably never practices guitar - he's probably like "i know thee songs like the back of my hand" - and aside from the rehearsals never plays around with them - i do think he has it in him if he really wanted to - but he's Keith and doesn't have to - thankfully he's not where Chuck Berry was in his l

i don't see any reason to bash Chuck - he serves a purpose in the band and that's to keep the ball rolling these days - he does the stuff the band no longer have time or want to do anymore - he has no ego or "big personality" and gets along with everyone and seemingly doesn't rock the boat- with that being said - i don't think he brings much musically to the table

if you watch the whole clip it's not what the article on that shit website said - i don't even like Gutfeld - but the way the article makes it look is completely false - he's on FOX and they hate him - the article a little down the page was something about Steven Tyler having a hard-on - it's scary how people take things for face value and jump all over it - don'

i'm sad there hasn't been a new record in so many years - as much as i hate to say it - i just don't think they are into it - the one thing that any artist wants to do is "create" - and they have shown no signs of having that desire anymore - this many years between albums at this point is just silly - i certainly hope i am proven wrong -

QuoteDoxa But that they needed some eight to nine days in a row to get that one on tape, to 'nail' it! Mamma mia! I personally find that absolutely crazy, since to me there is absulutely nothing there that I find worth the effort. Their idea of 'perfection' is to me a mark of lack of judgment there (and being surrounded by yes-men). - Doxa You absolutely nailed it pal

"How was the session with Mick? It was great, man. We knocked out a few songs together with Don Was." it's like Keith is one of those dolls with a string you pull and he has 10 things he can say - he should at least throw something in like " Brian might come down and play some slide" just to keep it interesting at this point...

the pictures are very cool - there is one with Mick out on the "island" extension part of the stage - and from that perspective the rest of the band looks really far away - but it's hard to judge what it would look like if you were there - i just wonder that if they miss playing small clubs or if this is just what they are used to doing and there is no nostalgic memories for th

the only issue i had with Blue & Lonesome was that i thought Mick Taylor should've been involved - there is not one memorable guitar lead on that whole thing - which makes it a little "samey" after a few songs - i think involving him woud've taken that Lp to a whole different level - but I also understand that it would've opened up a Pandora's Box of future expec

they just dont care anymore - there is no inspiration to create - too much time dicking around dressing like Pirates and hacking together some half-assed political song that means nothing outside of England - 2 years since that Blues album which shouldve been a shot in the arm and they still can't come up with anything - not even a lame part 2 of that -

i'm with you on this - if anything this mini tour has "paint by the numbers" written all over it - if indeed they are in the midst of trying to finish an album i doubt very seriously they are going to try and dust off "Feel On Baby", "Everything Is Turning To Gold" or "Each and Every Day of The Year"...but it sure would be nice if they would...

My Mother went into the hospital for some tests and was in the room and we were watching TV and she looked over and said "I don't feel right" and those were the last words I heard her say - it was a complete shock and totally unexpected - so I can imagine what you are feeling and going through - i did a lot of dumb stuff after that happened for a while - just acting reckless - don&

one of the most politically incorrect bands ever - my beloved Rolling Stones - and this 'irritated you??' - what did you expect some flowers and hearts on an old guitar Keith had around - of course he was trying to be offensive and piss people off - also - you misspelled the word 'swastika"... did the ad for Black and Blue 'irritate' you - did the line about black

my hopes just aren't up - i feel the same way i did after Steel Wheels - then i was pleasantly surprised with Voodoo Lounge - it may not be the best album and it may not have the trendy stuff MJ wanted on it - but it beats the hell out of the 2 before it - after hearing Keith's new half baked glorified jam session called Crosseyed Heart and SuperHeavy or whatever that crap was calle
