The FNAC at Bellecour is displaying 10 Stones photos by Claude Gassian, including the uncropped photo that ended up on the Run Rudolph Run cover. There's also an IG-friendly Stones display in the lobby.

Official public transport advice for the Stones show: It seems each concert ticket includes a free return trip: With your ticket, you have a return journey to King Baudouin Stadium. To get the ticket, you have to enter the code number of 9 numbers in a GO vending machine.

Quotehockenheim95 Quoteslewan QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack So another stair climbing adventure in Germany but Waldbühne is much smaller than Munich Olympia stadium but has more stairs than Innenraum in Munich A lot of steps. I just ran down about a thousand of them (give or take) to get to the front row for Nick Cave.

Quotekeefriffhards My heart goes out to all you Swiss fans with tickets, devastating news for you guys. Switzerland isn't exactly a remote country in the middle of nowhere. There's always Milan and Geneva for relative proximity, and all the other cities a quick flight away. With the Bern pit costing about $500 and prices elsewhere as low as $300-odd, savvy fans may even end up saving

The current UK chaos is being blamed on school holidays, just as the previous chaos a few weeks ago was blamed on Easter holidays. Hopefully things will stabilize by the time we get there. Schiphol is supposed to be one of the best airports in the world, so its issues are definitely ominous.

Maybe this is worth a separate post, but I'm just reading about Germany's crazy train promo for (virtually) unlimited train travel for 9 euro per month - June/July/August. Everything's covered except IC, ICE, EC trains, as far as I can tell. So all RE (regional) and local modes - S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, buses are included. This definitely makes life easier traveling to/from the aipo

Quoterichie26188 There’s currently an extensive poster advertising campaign going on in Liverpool. Suspect sales aren’t as strong as expected for this show. Or they're just trolling Beatle fans. And if ticket sales are slow in Liverpool, that would indicate the "hype" is a bad sign, right? Or is "no hype" a bad sign? I'm confused. I suspect most fans have their

Quotesnoopy2 For people who know these stadiums and cities, if you could choose one, maybe two shows at most, which would you choose based on the stadium and city? Still trying to make at least one trip happen and personally I'm thinking Lyon cuz would love to go wine-tasting in Bordeaux, but open to your knowledgeable suggestions! France's culinary capital. That would be my choice i

Quoteyorkshirestone QuoteOriongalaxy Hi all, We are gong to spend several days in Milan prior to the concert. Anyone could kindly recommend some place to visit in/out of Milan? Quoteslewan QuoteOriongalaxy Is Abba Museum worth visiting? I'd rather visit the Wasa museum which is more or less next doors A museum about Swedish crackers? You had me excited for a minute. The ABBA Museum is appropriately superficial, with a good section on their folkie roots in various incarnations. The display on their low-budget videos was interesting - i.e., the f/x tricks use

I was in Sweden on the last tour - didn't touch or see the currency. It was credit card all the way, and some places seemed defiantly anti-cash, like the ABBA Museum. I didn't mind since my bank gives me 2% cash back. As for food, the McD. had these great chili cheese balls (they called them Tops and were 10 SEK/$1 for a small bag), which I'd never seen elsewhere. I'd say that

Quotejmd For BRU-VIE leg, I’d look at Austrian first (they code share with Brussels Airlines, and list several nonstops as low as €58 on July 12-13), and maybe save the long train ride for VIE to Lyon. I forgot about his BRU-VIE leg, though it's a comparatively modest 10.5 hours at best. The alternative to BRU departures would be Ryanair flights ($39-$52) out of CRL, which requires some

Maybe it's already on the map there? I think it's more of a Teutonic thing. A quick Google Maps search comes up with places like Wankhaus and WankStrasse. I can't imagine the giggling that will
