I copied my whole collection to a 1 TB hard drive in FLAC (lossless) and then copied all of that to 128 mp3 a few years ago. Then when I upgraded my iPod I converted the FLAC again, this time to AAC at a higher bit rate. As stated earlier, this is the easiest way to do it, get a hard drive, rip it all to flac once, and as the ipod storage goes up, re convert the flac to a higher quality. Your PC

They were put together before the remasters that came out in 09, they were made up of mono and stereo vinyl rips on high end equipment, any alternate US album releases, singles, outtakes, etc. And, of course, they used the British albums as the basis, just like the CD issues of the beatles

I think most of the brussels discs out there are actually a combo of the 10/17 show from Belgium and a London show, maybe 9/9/73? So you may have grabbed one that only had the Brussels show on it.
