Rockman, I second that.... I like Ramblin Jack's "Connection" too quite a bit. I originally said Ike and Tina and "Honky Tonk Women". Certainly no one can argue with the Burritos doing "Wild Horses". That's my all-time favourite. I think Ramblin Jack follows right underneath that one. I would love to hear Billy Bragg doing "She smile sweetly&

Hear! Hear! It would be absolutely terrific to hear one of these Tom Waits shows. It seems very special since he's foregoing California and New York on his tour itinerary. I guess that person in Kentucky must owe him a lot of money after all.... There is supposedly a box set of rarities called "Orphans" in the works. Perhaps he is resurrecting some of these orphans from their

Great record! It inspired Brian Wilson in his creation of "Smile" which I like just a little bit better. Still, "Revolver" has got to be one of the better Beatles albums for sure although I prefer the untitled White Album myself. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Hear Hear about Arthur Lee! I am playing my mono copy of "Forever Changes" and thinking how lucky I was to see them twice within the past 4 years in Southern California when I was living there (once with the Zombies and then before that alone at the Boat House in the Orange Curtain). The songs sounded brilliant and fresh and he was still quiet competent at breathing life into these

Thank you dmay for posting the "trapeze" song which is my favourite from this tour. Thanks for the others as well. If you come across a couple of other tasty bonus cuts, feel free to post them because they are all appreciated. Enjoy your sunday! Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Thank you dmay! Tasty stuff! I just wish there was a live version of "the lady on the flying trapeze". Do you happen to have that one as a bonus track? Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Hello Mikeh, Yep, those were the days. These days I can barely afford to buy groceries (or blank cd's for that matter!) I just hope I don't Dylan when he makes an appearance here in New York. It's always great to get a show like this like the Van show and especially with bonus tracks as well. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Yes Mikeh, You had to be there. In LA at Pauly Pavilion and at the Anaheim Pond they had Joni Mitchell open for them! That was really cool. Joni hardly never plays anymore so that was a real treat. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Definitely best album of 2006. Brian Wilson and "Smile" should have won it for 2004 and "ABB" in 2005. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

dmay, Have you posted the "Cars" episode yet? I'd love to hear that one. BTW, have you listened to the 30-second snippets from his "Modern Times"? It sounds a little better than "Love & Theft" but not quite as good as TOOM. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Hello Stones Junkies, A nice person made the initial effort to post these great outtakes at the following blogsite but many of the tracks can not be downloaded (numbers 5 6 8 and 9): Does anyone have this 2 cd set to upload? I know that there's got to be a Ronnie junkie out there that has it. Pretty please? Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

Thank you Mikeh! I can't wait to hear it. Dylan is playing in Woppinger Falls just south of Saugerties in mid August. New band and a new album....this has got to be the most exciting concert coming up stateside. I'm pretty spoiled however...The run of shows Dylan did btwn 97-98 were awesome. TOOM has got to be one of his best all-time lp's. Charles Baudelaire 1821-1867

More, More and More. We need more great Doors boots on this forum! How about something from 1971? I forget whether they did any shows that year. Better yet... How about a show from Jim's one and only love, from the city of Absinthe, dwarf ponies, crêpes au thon, lovely duck trunk fillies, and book covers sullied with motorcycle grease and nicotine prints with fat soiled wine stains alo

The meercat channel is the best thing since sliced worm and larvae jam sandwiches with hickory mud sprouts. A sure meercat delicacy.... The last time I saw a meercat in person was at my last interview. She was disguised as a brand manager and tried to claw her way into my hambone pike bender. I wouldn't let her....so here I am still looking for work and watching highlights from back on
