QuoteCaptainCorella Quoteoldschool Don't think they are letting us see the list yet as they want you to buy the catalog. They will have to give us access once the suction starts but you may have to register to see the items? Thanks. I'm more than happy to register... I suspect that the cost of the catalogue will come down hugely after the event. I used to go to Sotheby's (et

They almost always screw up something obvious. Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks for the heads-up fzv. I am tempted to grab a copy but then saw they will stick in a presigned bookplate so Bill is not actually signing the books. Still might grab one but not as desirable as if Bill had signed the title page IMHO. Still it is a Wyman signature so may spring for one to go with my autographed copy of Stone Alone.

QuoteS.T.P Quotejbwelda Spectacular in someones eyes or not, it just ain't gonna happen unless Bears Sonic Journals sneaks it out jb I don't know...maybe they don't whant to. But the fact is that there is not much film of the Stones from their heydays and as far as we know, it might be one of, (if not the only) show that is filmed in its entirety from this periode. QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteS.T.P QuoteDandelionPowderman While technically not a FTV-release, we got The Brussels Affair, beautifully mixed. I wouldn't say beautifully mixed, but most of it is pretty god I must admit. Don't like the compressed drums though, and I bet Charlie hates it if he ever bothered to listen.. The absolute worst mix is Texas '78. -No guitar sound at all!

QuoteS.T.P Quotejacktheflash That's what I'm in for....1972 tour shows. There are soundboards of a number of them and we know there is a lot of footage somewhere. This nonsense of waiting 30 years or more to release this stuff is ridiculous. Many fans want this material now...not 10 years from now. It's more like 50 years - but it feels like a 100! One thing is that it would be f

I am sure I am on the low end compared to some of the collectors on this forum but I have spent a fair amount of money on Stones stuff. - Official CD's and LP's - Bootleg CD's and LP's - Concert tee shirts even for shows I never attended but loved the designs - Ticket stubs mainly from the 1969 tour. My favorite Stones tour for which I hope to get a complete set. Need ab

Quotetjkrol Are these new sources for the audio? I was wondering the same thing or is this just a copy of the Idol Mind Productions releases? I bought this title and have both the Altamont and Palm Beach Idol Mind titles but have not had times to compared them.

Quotetreaclefingers Quotekeefriff99 QuoteRocky Dijon Sorry, guys. When I look back on 2004 and see Mick and Keith soldiering on with writing and demoing A BIGGER BANG; I never once think if Charlie didn't pull through they would have told Virgin Records, "I'm sorry we can't deliver an album after all" and they would have told Michael Cohl, "I'm sorry, but the hu

QuoteEddieByword I saw an interview with Keith - a few years ago - he said, if anything ever happened to him, Mick or Charlie, that would be it - over............... Interesting he did not mention Ronnie. Curious if they would soldier on if anything were to happen to Ronnie.

Quotenoughties Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Jethro Tull. What did they all have in common? -Blues rock. I could add Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young becauce their following solo and duo work wasn`t as good as their group work, but then I would have to mention The Beatles too, and we all know that. I read somewhere that those bands first albums were so

QuoteMisterDDDD Great season by the Hawks! Went wayyy further than any analysts predicted at the start of the season. Never one to blame the refs or bad calls, because really it's your own fault for it being that close.. But.. they blew the first down call.. even after review. Damn shame really, like to see a game of this magnitude play out on the field only. That is bad angle on

Quoteab QuoteWoz I'll wait for the tour...... That Last Waltz tribute that Warren led in New Orleans a few years ago was supposed to be a one-off and was priced accordingly. Then there was a second show, then a tour, and recently another tour. I can't see this lineup putting in all the work for a single show. My guess is that they take it on the road to play sheds for a couple wee

Quoterbk This has all the earmarks of a Livenation contrived summer amphitheater tour. Everybody appears to be available in August. Well unless Haynes and Trucks are lying this is billed as a one off concert so I guess we will see how sincere they are. Then again if it sells out maybe they do more. In any case if they do decide to do a limited shed tour this coming summer and come up Boston way

I am huge fan of the 1969 Stones tour so I usually pick up new live boots from that tour every time they are released and have at least half a dozen different Altamont boots. It was a terrible tragedy that day so it always amazes me how well the Stones played as good as they did. I always thought the violent conditions resulted in an urgency to the music. If the prerelease press had not made a big deal about it I might not even have noticed. That's interesting...I found the de-aging incredibly obtrusive and distracting at times. QuoteMisterDDDD Quotenick If you buy a book and he was going to sign it then it would take the same amount of time for him to sign an album, photo, cd, etc. Hand him a book or hand him Let it Bleed, it's the same thing. Not the point. The point is he is selling his book. Want an autograph? Buy the book. If he was signing anything, people would be showing up with all kinds of stones

My first Stones show at MSG, NYC was my favorite. It was an event and nog just a concert. Going early to NYC to party with friends and just the incredible atmosphere in the MSG arena. The place was just electric before the Stones came on.

I was not a fan of the actual picture quality at times as it reminded me of the dreaded soap opera effect LCD TV'
