Here ya go, kids. Not the best sound, but you get the idea. According to my archives, this was recorded in Waterville, Maine, in May 1973 (although some sources say it was March 73)...Blondie was still with them at the time.

Saw them do this song at the Rose Bowl in 1994...it went over really well and the crowd loved it. Thought they did fine a job, Keith included.

Quotestoneswashed77 keith and jimmy hendrix. clapton is nowhere near in their universe. clapton is good at copying blues players. especially buddy guy. he is no original. never played a new lick. he is not a rhythm player. not a good writer. Quotestoneswashed77 naive? yes, you seem to be. clapton is GOD and stuff right? this world could have done without that guy. that´s not true fo

Hopefully it's true, but Badman's book has a lot of errors and no doubt some inaccuracies.

Quoteklrkcr A few swigs of JD and a few lines to snort, and maybe smoke a big number!! No sorry that was the old days! Yeah, no doubt the case in 81-82. Knew someone back then who was part of the road crew during the US tour in '81...he referred to Little T&A as "Mick's cocaine break."

Quotebehroez Quoteablett Cause he's a founder member No he is not a founder member Charlie only joined in 1963, the oldest Rolling Stones demos are with Dick Taylor on bass and Tony Chapman on the drums Maybe they can ring up Dick and Tony for the next tour...I mean, they are "founder" members!

QuoteGazza Quoteskipstone What was it, some show at the Forum in LA for the Licks Tour that was the "raise awareness" of global warming. It's on the DVD. What did Mick say? Something about it, being there, made everyone feel good. The camera pans the parking lot and it's all SUVs... Did they "raise" any awareness? The show was for the NRDC (National Resources

UMT was definitely one of my favorite openers, but the one that really worked for me in person was "Not Fade Away" on the Voodoo Lounge tour. Very unexpected and the crowd totally freaked out...I remember a group of girls sitting behind me screaming their heads off when the band hit the stage. Hopefully we'll see something different like this next time around.

QuoteROLLINGSTONE Here's a cheery little ditty: "Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas I don't want to see my Momma cry Please Daddy don't get drunk this Christmas I don't want my Momma cry Just last year when I was only seven Now I'm almost eight, as you can see You came home a quarter past eleven And fell down underneath our Christmas tree

I'm 44. Been a fan since '73 (8 years old!)...first Stones record was the "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)" single - with "Dancing with Mr. D." on the b-side!

The reality is we don't really know any of these people and what they're like in their private lives...whether it be musicians, athletes, actors, etc. For me, it's rarely a surprise anymore when stuff like this happens.

QuoteJustin I also had the same issue when I began my Brian Wilson journey earlier this year. I came to the board with the same issue you are echoing today: It took me a while to "get it." I'm not sure how it happened...but it didn't come with Pet Sounds. It was a combination of other tracks from their post-Pet Sounds canon and more importantly it came after a few

Just wondering if there's a recording of this show anywhere out there? I tried to do a search here, but couldn't find anything. I was lucky enough to be in attendance that night after winning tickets in the drawing. Great show...the boys were in fine form.

QuoteHappy24 QuoteJah Paul As for new recordings or a reunion concert/tour? I doubt it. As long as Yoko was around, he would have opted to record and perform only with her (they had preliminary plans to do a tour after the next record in 1981, as someone here mentioned). Do we know that John would be with Yoko in the ninetees? We don't of course. Another topic for speculations...That mi

I've always wondered what would have happened if John was around all these years. I'm sure he would have participated in the "Anthology" series, but I picture his interview segments being shot entirely separately...with no group footage of the four of them sitting around a table reminiscing (like we saw with Paul, George and Ringo). Of course I'm just speculating, but t

Quoteliddas I just do not believe that this was not planned/prepared. Its just like the Stones internet choice of some time ago. You can even see he is reading the words on the teleprompter. Ok, its Satisfaction and not Gomper, so probably everybody in the band has already heard/played/sang the song 1,000 times before. But its too tight to be completely unrehearsed!!! C From what I'v

Quoteglencar He slags the 'boss' & others...It's actually pretty funny. I think he mentioned The Boss, Mick, and Billy Joel. Best part was when Dylan spoke later in the ceremony and said..."I want to thank Mike Love for not mentioning ME. Peace and harmony are very important, indeed, but so is forgiveness." One of Dylan's best moments.

The material might have been new at the time to the bootleg world...without knowing the tracks/dates, can't be sure if they're on the official release or not (The Beatles did a ton of appearances on various BBC shows, amassing several different versions of the same songs in some cases). I remember a radio special in 1982 called "The Beatles at the Beeb" which featured many
