I could have lived without David Grohl who just trashed his guitar like a bitch. I liked Tom Waits, John Fogerty and Bonnie Raitt in 2013. Forgerty was priceless and it was funny how he read the lyrics from the prompter as I was just front on the side. 2012 we saw Clapton in a phenomenal Champagne and Reefer which John Mayor was good but not able to cope with Eric. Florence Welsh was good, but

Quotecorriecas QuoteOnlyKeef Italian bad "news"... Iorr vs Italian promoter !!! What does it say in English. Jeroen No news. It is just what we read on tabloids in English. There is not even a hint mentioned for any date in Italy. and reflects more or less the rumour dates on this site.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Thanks, Grison. I knew some of the shows were longer, but 2:40 really was something extra, rather than the norm, no? Philly 2 was one of the shows out of the numbers I can't recall which was outstanding in length and quality.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotebonddm Let me get this straight,We are forced to pay close to $600 for the best tix in Australia, only to (presumably)have up to 30 mins shaved off the concerts compared to last years US dates. There's no way I would have shelled out what I did for tix's if I'd known this in advance. Also, what's with the tracks in the fan vote generally being regularl

QuoteGazza QuoteGrison I do not know if they rehearsed a lot during these days. Waiting outside the night before the opening to get first row we never hear any soundcheck on the actual stadium shows I have attented. As they played more or less the same songs on every concert in Europe except for the minimal changes after Frankfurt 3rd concerts they knew how to play. They rehearsed for over thre

It is pretty easy to take shots, however I would be a bit careful with longer videos. They tend to stop that. I mean they never did me as I was only doing like 1 minute shots to try the new camera, but they did stop people when they had constantly the camera holding for longer than a song. Remember that cameras with exchangable lenses are not permitted.

Thanks a lot for all the reports you gave. So the shorter set list did not shorten the quality of the concerts. This is just great to hear.

Quotebonddm This gigs going to be lucky to crack 2 hours. If I'd known in advance that they were going to shave up to 30 mins off the set times compared to 2013,I would have thought twice about shelling out outrageous dollars for the Melbourne gig. That is why you paid more in the US last year for 21-23 Songs . It is mostly that the US get longer and often better Shows. However I will not com

QuoteDECCA61 it looks half empty in the pit .. or is it my imagination ... It is never a cramped place. Luckily ! You can move around if you are further back. The first rows are mostly the early VIP entries. They do not sell a lot and I assume it is also security reasons. It would not be easy to empty the pit in case of emergency as the entrances on both sides are limited.

There have been no Support acts during the 50 Counting and since the start of the On Fire Tour except for Hyde Park which is a Kind of Festival like Glastonbury. I don't think there will be any in Australia, perhaps Adelaide and Hanging Rock. However the announcement has been for concert and not any notice of Support acts.

the variety of a set lists is minimized once they start to play less songs. With the Option along the US Tour we had 21-23 songs and therefore more surprises each night. Getting back on the routine of 19.20 songs we cannot expect surprises as for most of the poeple it's a one night one go thing to hear the greatest hits.

Quotelatvianinexile Macau is next but I've never seen so little activity on iorr in advance of a specific concert. This topic has slipped to page 7 while I'm writing this. I suppose there are not many iorrians around Macau and Hong Kong. I'll be in HK from tomorrow afternoon on and am ready to preparty on Friday or Saturday. Enjoy the show!

on Twitter this morning CET there is no hint about an upcoming announcement. I still hope for some Arena shows end of May/June or if they start late then end of July. Otherwise I have to give up plans to see them again in Europe

The reason for this stage is mostlikely the logistics. Think about that the stage has to be moved from Shanghai to Perth which might not be to easy. And the stage from Singapore to Adelaide. To me it seems that they may not have the side catwalks. At least when you checkt the seating map and the stage printed on this map.

I just don't think that the Stones will announce the tour within the next days. Last years North America tour has been announced 4-5 weeks prior to the first concert. the Far East/Pacific tour has been announced Dec 3rd around and it's about 10 weeks ahead to the first show. That might have been done because much more organisation was involved. So either the tour starts earlier than

QuoteMathijs Quotesilkcut1978_ Stu was the one who decided if they play Angie or not on the 2nd half of the tour. if the audience was great yes, otherwise they left it out (as in Vienna for instance). Angie was added to the set of the Madrid show on July 7, 1982, and was then played on each and every show until the end of the tour. Mathijs They skipped on Chantilly Lace after 3rd concert in

QuoteLimbostone Oh no, for me, the BtB stage was one of the reasons I became interested in the Stones as a touring band! It somehow proved they were the biggest, most extreme, boundary breaking band in the world... They just put down their castle for one day anywhere they seemed fit. And musically, they were up to it. Watch Keith in Bremen, 1998. Those were MY Stones! Good for you on those time

why do we concentrate on stage design, when we would like to hear good music during a concert with some lightning accomplishing the songs and if needed big video screens. Do we really need more? For my taste the BtB was the most desastrous stage which made the Stones to little gnomes in between steel.

The stage in Abud Dhabi seems to me the long awaited (what ever that means) outdoor stage for bigger events or bigger places. To me it seemed logical that the tonguepit stage does not make sense for bigger outdoor places. However this new design is much to high and mostlikely when people have seats like in Tokyo, Adelaide, Macedon those will be further away. Still the catwalk seems to split the s

If bonddm would like to correct me, I'll be

I do not think that it only depends on east or west in Europe. It depends on the easiest way to travel in Europe with less changes of hotelrooms and the whole Crew. Thinking of the US last year they had 2 places to stay in California and off in Vegas for 7 Shows. Then a Long stay in Chicago with side trips to Toronto. So out of 18 Shows they might have had 8 Hotels. The far east/Aussie Tour will b
