After listening to the 3 opening chords for the first time, my 4-year old bursts out "Ahh, it's the Rocking Stones"... That works for me, "passing it on" as Keith would say.

I'm involved in the BMX part of the Olympic Games...It starts today with finals on Friday....(and I know all purists will say it doesn't belong in the Olympics, but you better check it out, it's cool) In contrast to Beach volleyball and other spectator friendly sport, we don't play "we will rock you" with Queen or any other cheeky rock anthems...no sir, quite a lo

Hi IORR guitar players, Is anyone able to tab the 3 note solo Keith does on Honky Tonk Women (as in Live In Texas for example)?...simple but yet amazing.. Sorry to disturb with this ignorant question in all the "keith cannot play" discussions...I thought it was very cool seeing Keith play slide (last time in 99, right?) on the acoustic... JoT

To all Stones skiers out there, 7 days to launch:K2 skis I guess this is the start of the "50th anniversary" sell out...normally I wouldn't be excited about lame licensed products, but these are pretty cool... JoT839

The rumor has it that he Stones have turned down the offer of being part of the Opening Ceremony at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Apparently at the Super Bowl half time show, the Stones (read Mick) wasn't happy not being 100% in control and they are very hesitant of doing similar shows. This came from sources with the London organizing committee, so who knows. It is cool though that d

Obviously a lot of talk about Ronnie's guitar riff on this tune, but the open G licks from Keith are very cool.....Love it! JoT839

I'm stoked to see Social D being mentioned on the IORR forum...awesome band with a lot of rock'n'roll and country roots.. Mike Ness certainly has been inspired by Stones, doing covers like Backstreet Girl and Under My Thumb... Mike Ness & Keith seems to have a lot in common, with the whole "if you gonna kick authority in the teeth, you might as well use both feet"

Here's a question to the guitar players on the board.. I think Jagger's guitar intro and playing on Some Girls in SAL is pretty cool. Is that open g tuning and what cords is it? It looks pretty simple.... just barring along all strings, or? With all the SAL bashing going around, I do think there were quite a few highlights in SAL, this being one of them..... Thanks,

Hello, I thought it was pretty cool when they rehearsed Muddy Water's "I Can't Be Satisfied" on The Biggest Bang DVD, but has it ever been played live in the modern era? (or back in the days even).. If so, is there any known recordings? Thanks,

Anyways, I wonder if someone can enlighten me on Keith days in Switzerland 1972-1973? I beleive he was staying for a while in a Alp chalet called Le Pec Varp in Villars-Sur-Ollon (near Montruex). Since I
