QuoteStoneage Yep, 7 changes from first to second Chicago gig. Something out of the ordinary. Not much to whine about now. Some notes: - All the changes are in the first part of the show. Song 1-9. Except for spot 3 and 7/8 who are the same (TD and YCAGWYW). - The second part is fixed with the exception of one Keith song changing. The problem is not 7 changes from one night to the next.

Quoteslewan Quotekeithsman I would expect that all those 4 songs will be played at some point during the tour as they have rehearsed them, the vote thing is a bit suspect, personally i would like Monkey Man and Heartbraker played every night of the 17 in place of Miss You. Except for Shuffle all these songs were in the song vote(s) in 2018, but only Heartbreaker has been performed But,not

QuoteBashlets Unfortunately I’m sure it will return. I hope they add a little adventure. During Bang they did Back of my hand and OOC early on and Infammy but they were all dropped by like 5 shows in for most part and they returned to the HOT ROCKS business as usual. I hope they keep it fresh "Infamy" lasted for more than the first 2 months of the tour. "Back of My Hand

The only tolerable modern version of "Miss You" since 1982 were the four 2002 / 2003 versions clocking in at just under 6 minutes. The one in Italy may have been the best of them. Performed only 4 times on that entire tour out of more than 100 shows ..... after not being performed at all in '99.

For the sake of variety, either "Harlem Shuffle" or "Heartbreaker" which has always been missed in Chicago. They did "Monkey Man" in Chicago on the 'Licks Tour' twice and on the 'Voodoo Lounge Tour'. They did "Imagination" in Chicago on the 'No Security Tour'.

Keep "Sad Sad Sad" in rotation. Replace "Miss You" with anything else. B-Stage : "Play with Fire" , "Let it Bleed" , "Factory Girl" , "Torn and Frayed" Better tilted universe.

QuoteHMS QuoteWinning Ugly VXII They performed "Thief in the Night" at every second concert in '98 without any riots. Rotating with "You Don't have to Mean It". Very often in '99 as well. The same goes for "Infamy" during the first long stretch of the 2005 tour. Also no riots. Audiences seem to tolerate Thief In The Night or Infamy if it´s combin

QuoteHMS QuoteStoneage QuoteTD76 YGTS was the one unfortunately that sent fans to the exits Yes, are we allowed to talk about that? How boring and predictable the Keith set is? Even his banter is predictable. But of course we are expected to cherish the lack of ambition here. Yes indeed, it´s awful boring. But imagine the riot of disgusted fans if he would play Thief In The Night and Infamy

I hope that it's not "You Got the Silver" and "Before They Make Me Run" / "Happy" for the entire tour. The Richards lead vocal songs used to get rotated around, providing variety in the set list before the 50th anniversary tour. Since then, the only surprise has been "Can't Be Seen" ..... which would be nice to see in there again with mayb

Quotedennycranium Everyone, we are NOT going to get deep album cuts. If we get one at all consider yourself lucky. They will play 20 to 21 songs like they've done the past few years. I'll bet 95% plus of crowd are casual fans. They like or love the Stones but aren't "purists" like we claim to be. 95% of the crowd will most likely "yawn" at Lady Jane or someth

QuoteJDSAM1994 I think Harlem Shuffle would be a total bummer for most people, especially in a 19 song set opposed to 22. Maybe it will become the new emotional rescue like in 2013. Sad sad sad would be decent but I also think most people wouldn’t be too thrilled. Like a rolling stone works because, they do it well, and literally everyone knows that song. Hand of fate would be really kick ass, al

Quotelonglongwinter that would be a real bummer if they wasted two slots for Harlem Shuffle or Sad Sad Sad, two horrible Stones songs I disagree very strongly. "Harlem Shuffle" and "Sad Sad Sad" would be upgrades over the regular "Like a Rolling Stone" and "You Got Me Rocking" that we have been getting since the mid-'90's. The warhors

QuoteStonedRambler Quotefrankotero Oh, and Heart Of Stone would be amazing. Hope that one sneaks into the setlist. From the Rehearsal Report page: Quote They went over lots of up-tempo rockers too - all in one take, amongst others All Down the Line sounded beautifully punchy and sharp! Ditto with Heartbreaker and Rocks off Heartbreaker would also be a good choice They have missed "Hea

QuoteTornAndFried QuotePalaisRoyale Well one things for certain. Memory Motel was rehearsed on Friday as per Mick's phone in interview that aired this morning on Toronto radio station. They will play "Memory Motel" in Boston. It's a tradition by now. I hope not. Considering that 90% of the set list has also become a tradition by now. That would only leave maybe 1 oth

QuoteMileHigh Not just for the Stones, for any rock band. Arenas are the sweet spot, big enough for a giant spectacle and yet still small enough so you can connect with the audience. That would be a fitting end for the Stones, a retro-style arena tour then Royal Albert Hall for the end. Indoor arenas .... the sound is not great. Booming echo sound. The Stones seem to have perfected t

Quotedcba : how about the return of the acoustic set they did on the VL tour? 3 songs sitting on stools and "No Expectations" "Factory Girl" and others played again!! That would be great, right? That's the best idea which I have heard in ages. The Stones are still very good at performing these types of acoustic songs.

QuoteGasLightStreet Aside from the 2 BRIDGES singles mentioned, maybe they'll surprise a few shows with Lowdown or You Don't Have To Mean It, maybe even Thief In The Night. Which would be fantastic! I would rather hear those 3 than hear "Saint of Me". The last thing they need to rehearse is another crowd sing-along. There are more than enough already with "Mis

Anything they haven't done before. Probably "Soul Survivor" if I had to choose one ..... Chicago '72 rumors aside. Among the songs that they do perform these days,I would take anything among "Play With Fire", "Fool to Cry", "Shine a Light" , "Love is Strong", "Let it Bleed", "Can't Be Seen", "Danci

Quotebv Please play SWAY !!! Please ONLY IF Mick Taylor joins in. The same goes for "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" as likewise "Sway". Both need Taylor to make them really worthwhile. There have been enough non-Taylor performances of these 2 songs since 2002 and 2006 respectively. Although ...... no "Sway" after the Fonda Theatre concert .... on

QuoteHMS Quotesjs12 [...] This song would work in a theatre but given it isn't really working that well in an arena, I don't see how it would work in a stadium. But then somehow slipping away seems to work well... Slipping Away is a rather useless floater from Steel Wheels but at least not as boring as How Can I Stop. He might as well do Losing My Touch (a song I like better by far),

Quotepeoplewitheyes I said it before, but it bears repeating, who on earth would 'buy' Honk? Older people (the ones who still buy physical product) probably already have several Stones hit compilations, younger people who want to hear the Stones just stream it on Spotify, Youtube etc. I don't like the idea of re-buying the same stuff but,to answer your question,Disc 3 live tra

Rolling Stones.com has the Arizona,Miami, and Jacksonville (and of course New Orleans) removed from the list. Maybe because they were all supposed to take place by tonight ..... or maybe because of slow ticket sales for Arizona and Jacksonville. Maybe for the Arizona concert, they should have gone with the baseball stadium instead of the huge football stadium.
