Quote24FPS And why wouldn't you need five speakers for surround sound? Why wouldn't you want the sound coming out of the other three or sometimes four speakers? When you sit in the right spot you get the auditory illusion of hearing music in a ring around your ears. The sound is there. It's coming out of all the speakers. So why wouldn't you want to hear that? Maybe because

QuoteGasLightStreet Kravitz opened for The Cult as well in 1992. I saw LK and The Cult on that tour. I was never a LK fan but he definitely put on a great show. Better than the show The Cult put on that night.

Quotetriceratops Jimmy Miller was amazing for a long while. Got his big rep producing Traffic. Then was poached by Jagger and Company. My bet is that Jagger did *all* the talking with JM to get him in, working with The Stones. I heard he was a mess when he produced Bomber for Motörhead. That heroin will mess you up.

QuoteIrix Quotemisterfrias How is that Carnaby Street nowadays? You can explore it simply via Google StreetView. Thanks. I learn something new every day. EDIT: Looks like your typical “garden-style” outlet mall here in NJ.

How is that Carnaby Street nowadays? It seems like in the 1960s it was a vibrant place with lots of small hip shops. Now I imagine it’s all big businesses (chains like Hot Topic) with a Starbucks on each block. Sort of like how the Village went to pieces in Manhattan. Greeting from NJ.

I am confused. Roger Waters has an Instagram account. If he doesn’t want his music used to promote it, that’s fair. But to rail against a mechanism you use to promote your music is hypocritical. Naughty Roger, wanting it both ways. All in all it’s all about selling.

I have Exile and I know those top photos aren’t in it. I just wonder if it is worth having both books. I am a “Yankee” and $165 is a tad high for me (considering how the pandemic ate up my finances). Thanks for the heads up and mini review, HM.

QuoteNilsHolgersson I can seperate the artist from the person, I can even still listen to George Michael Some people can be like that. I am sure Jimmy Savile still has a lot of fans “across the pond” too. People seem to think that if the victims are fans (i.e., underage groupies) the celebrity can do anything he wants.

I hope you like it, cowboytoast. Sometimes you hear things you may have missed with the video. Seriously, I fell in love with this show based exclusively on the audio and still photos. I kinda think if I saw the video it may disappoint me. Maybe I am wrong.
