One of my favourite rock'n'roll artistes. An immense talent and yes, he got better as he got older. I think Wildflowers was his absolute masterpiece. What an incredible feeling that album invokes. I saw him first in 1977 as support to Nils Lofgren at Hammersmith Odeon - all 3 nights. Then at Knebworth in 78, Wembley Arena in 81 and finally at Hyde Park in 2017. Loving Mike Campbe

The title says it all - soulless versions of songs that are played far too fast. Probably my least favourite Stones' album.

A great musician who was usually to be found with his guitar entertaining other fans back in the days when you could still queue for tickets such as outside Virgin store for Brixton in 95 and outside Tower for the Shepherds Bush Empire show in 99.

QuoteRank Stranger QuoteSilver Dagger Glad to see my recording is still popular. That's why I download these bootlegs, I already have x versions of these shows, but it's always nice to listen to the Stones in their prime again. By the way, wasn't there some talk of an upgrade? Yes - since lockdown I've not heard from my knob twiddler - so to speak. Thanks for r

Now only Jerry Lee left of the originators of modern pop music. Richard's shadow loomed large over just about everyone of importance - The Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Dylan, Prince, Jimi Hendrix and helped influence rap and hip hop. R.I.P (It Up) Richard Penniman.

QuoteErik_Snow So it was you who taped this, Silver Dagger, well thanks so much. You must havve had a great rig, both this and your London 1973 recordings are among the most precious Rolling Stones recordings. There's nothing like excellent audience recordings, beats the hell out of dry SBD rec. Cheers Erik. Glad you enjoyed them.

Hi everyone, Glad you're all enjoying this recording. I was the taper and I thought that after the SB and video came out there wouldn't be much interest in anyone hearing this - especially as the sound is so Keith heavy and a bit unbalanced. But hey, that makes it unique. It was a very surreal day - and 2 nights - out at Knebworth that weekend. Blazing heat all through the day and

QuoteErik_Snow If they decide to include a live CD/LP, which they'd be fools not to, as they were at their peak in 1973, wonder what it'll be, since Brussels 2nd show is allready released, allthough that Japanese box is quite expensive. Combination of London 09/09 and Brussels 1st seems the obvious choice, tho' it won't be useful for anybody with even a slight interest in RS
