What? Where is this "Berlin" thing? I mean where is it mentioned, I know where Berlin is I would love that. I only hope they got the message the last year, that the Pit tickets for 800E don't sell and it is better to sell it for 250 than to fill the Pit with lucky dips.

QuoteKerryann I'm certainly not interesting in flying halfway around the world to get tickets at the back of GA and Im not a gambler, so not gonna risk it. The shows are fantastic and their time is limited.......and you only live once.....so what the hell, just pay the money and enjoy. No regrets in life, it's for living and enjoying (can't take your money with you). Now to be a

I am just a casual fan of both AC/DC and G'n'R, but I have to admit I was impressed when I saw AC/DC with Axl. Saw Guns a year after that and Axl sang waaay better with AC/DC. His voice was like a chain saw, while with Guns he was mostly saving his voice, singing in falsetto. Sometimes it sounded okay, sometimes awful. But I can not say a single bad thing about his singing with AC/DC. S

It is an opinion of a biographer, the article doesn't provide anything else than that one sentence quoted above. It is only the title that says "confirms." Poor journalism and nothing else. While it might happen, it won't surely be "confirmed" by a biographer quoted in a poor article.

QuoteStarr In this politically correct, sensitive new age should we not maybe think about asking the Stones to re-name some of their songs? I know you are not serious, but seeing this sentence I can't help commenting it: political correctness has nothing to do with sensitivity. It is a hypocrisy at its ugliest. Well, in my opinion.

Quotedcba In all honesty, I'm not far from Mathijs' opinion : DOR had above-average singing capacities but imho she was not a great artist. She was more of a "one hit" wonder ("Zombie" of course). The huge media commotion over her passing is - imho again - totally out of proportion with her (rather tiny) legacy in the pop music history. It is a matter of opini

This is absolutely shocking and devastating. I saw The Cranberries twice in 2012, she was an amazing singer and they had a lot of great songs. I hope she is fine and happy wherever she went. Rest In Peace, Dolores

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotegeorgelicks The album is on Universal schedule for 2018, but with album sales so awful during January/November, I can't see it released before late November or December, maybe with a ticket bundle (if they play shows in 2019) like U2 to boost sales, Even this year, December sales are very poor with a 24% drop over 2016. They won't release the album in July

Quoteguyrachel Can’t bear your arrogant tone. I’m here to discuss something I enjoy and while you can answer as you like, there’s no need to be that blunt. Obviously the third part is subjective, and it’s something a few people have commented on, and I feel they sounded as fresh and rejuvenated as I’ve heard them in a long while, and that to my ears includes the tempi. There is not much to be d

Quotepeoplewitheyes strawman argument, Happy24 It really wasn't my intention. Sorry if it came through that way. I just can't imagine Mick and Keith being frightened of anybody elses opinion. Charlie even less. I just find the idea or rather the image in my head quite funny, that's all. But yeah, it is just that one word - frightened - that cought my eye in your post. Other tha

Quotepeoplewitheyes I guess the success of B and L has created a problem for the Stones. They are frightened that there is no way they can follow up the critical and commercial success of that covers album with an album of original work. Especially given the 'tester' (Get a Grip and EL) went down like a turd in a Radox bath. Anything that takes that long to come up with, I am sur

But were there any extra cameras in Paris? Sure, they might have the footage from the cameras that are there for the screens, but I think it takes much more these days to film a DVD. I know, it is as complex as one wnats it to be, there surely can be a DVD made with 2 or 3 simple cameras, but...

QuoteNate When I was in Spain in September I did hear some rumours about shows in Australia but if they are going to play multiple shows in the U.K. next year then would they be planning another tour elsewhere in the world, recent history says no. Nate Well, they played Europe and Australia (and Far East) in 2014, which is quite recent, but yeah, judging from the last 3 years it doesn't

QuoteMonsoon Ragoon Enter studio shortly before X-Mas? What have they done the whole year (apart from some 30 hours concert-playing)? When do they want to release the album? 2023? Oh yeah, they spent a comfortable September and Octobet at home and every once in a while they were teleported to some arena to work for 2 hours. Those guys are only 75, how dare they not be working round the clock, r

QuoteHairball Wondering if the "No Mick Taylor" factor was publicly announced prior to tickets going on sale, or was it just inside info. that was spread around message boards filled with diehard fans (either before or after the tickets went on sale). Evidently bleedingman and ohotos were under the impression he would be there - both of whom follow this board I presume. I think it

Quote24FPS The greatest irony is that you pay $500 and up, when you could have seen them for $5 bucks, when they were good. I paid half of what you write on this tour to be in the first row, face value (235 and 270 Euro). I agree that the prices are insane and I know that one can pay actually even way more, but let's not exagarate it

Still, it's a pity not to get some new music from Keith, don't you think? matxil, even though I see it differently, I get what you mean of course. Quotematxil QuoteHappy24 Quotematxil Mozart didn't make second rate symphonies when he got older Mozart was 35 when he died Yes, but that's besides the point. The point is that an artist should be judged by his work, not his age. So when comparing Mozart to the Stones, one can say that Mozart kept on writing good material until the end and hence, is still respected. Is it fair t

A little bit late, but here is my review of the show in Stockholm. I attached some of my pictures bellow and there are more here: It was my second and the last show on this tour; in a city where I stayed for a year as an exchange student 18 years ago and which I haven't visited in the last 14 years, so I was very much looking forward to this one and everything around.
