Hi everyone. Forgive me if this has been asked before, are the Lucky Dip Tickets allocated on a first come first served basis, i.e., the better spots go to people who cue erarly or is the particular place where a certain holder of a LD will get placed already fixed before he goes to collect them? Thank you!

I had heard the 1968 outtake and the 1995 live performance before but stumbled across this on YouTube the other day saying "Still a Fool (2005 Version)". The voice is Mick so it's obviously not the Keith/Hubert Sumlin version. I know YouTube video descriptions can be very inaccurate. Anybody know where this recording is from? Bigger Bang sessions/rehearsals?

Quoterollingon Quoterumple21 A one-off performance of 'Sweet Black Angel' at Fort Worth on 24th June 1972 Mind you I suppose that's not an obscure song just a rare performance. Is there a recording of this performance available? It's a beautiful song, why only one performance?

Quotestonesstein I always thought that Don't Look Back from 1978 was not the band but Jagger with Peter Tosh's band who opened for them. yep, my bad.

Quotewith sssoul Quotegotdablouse ... was very surprised to see "Indian Girl" listed here for "Niedersachsenstadion, Hanover, Germany" on May 23rd, 1990 ?! This was just discussed recently on some other thread - it was Factory Girl, not Indian Girl. Someone should correct that wikipedia page.

Quotegotdablouse Well it's not that "obscure" since it was used in the soundtrack of a Robert Altman (dud) movie, right ? I was flipping through the setlist.fm stats and was very surprised to see "Indian Girl" listed here for "Niedersachsenstadion, Hanover, Germany" on May 23rd, 1990 ?! Is that someone's idea of a joke? Apparently not - now WTF is that

QuoteMathijs QuoteThrylan My first love too.....This is funny, I had trouble with this one, but, tune a 6 string to open G, but leave the low E as is. Hit the open G, then walk up (E,G) on the 6th string. No idea how it was recorded,(Mathis question), but this is plausible, and allows having two guitars, one in G, one standard, to hit all the licks. You need the open E, A, and D strings in

I'm not sure but I think so, as you can clearly hear the first chord - G - with a pull off the the bare E string in that. I think. So yes

Judging by footage from the Bigger Bang tour it looks as though Keith played it in standard tuning, did he play it in open G in 81/82!? Looks like t it from the footage available on youtube, especially as he plays it on the same Tele used for Tumbling Dice on severals tours. his finger positions indicate this as well. Cheers Austin 2006 Hampton 1981
