Check out filmweb.no oslokino.no kino1.no to see where the movie's playing. And the reviews are fabulous. A lot of 5's out of 6, some sixes and a few fours. Not bad. The critics here can't have seen the same movie as that grumpy person in the Times.

Yes, the boy/girl/both? from India is definitely back. If Sunny takes a look at Shine A Light, he/she/it'll see that he's not gone! He's good! He

Saw the film last night in Oslo, Norway. Universal and the film distributor invited music- and film business people. Wonderful - we all had a great time, but what I'm really looking forward to is seeing it in the gigantic cinema on the opening night on Friday. Tickets for that one are on sale NOW! So, Norwegians should get their tickets imediately - cause the reviews are fab, and even pe

I'm so proud of Keith! Donating money to the Al Gore Climate Project is about the most important thing one can do these days, besides getting a smaller car and drive less! Richards is an intelligent man, who is well read and able to adapt and analyse theories. Unlike some other people I've heard about... So, thanks KEITH! Keith Richards for president!

I'll definitely go to see him in Bergen. Wonderfull festival, fabulous surroundings, beautiful nature, great people. Let's hope for several shows all over Europe. I think there are presently requests fro iorr'ians living in the UK, France, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands. And four listed shows so far. Looks like The Juf is working on the tour list this very moment.

Elmo Lewis: I don't think Keith was there. For some reason he and Bowie never got on well. (I think Keith made fun of his rather feminine ways, and used names like "fag" and other ugly words.) The dark haired man between Bowie and Mick Ronson could be a young man named Phillip, from Langley/Slough. He used to hang out with Bowie and Ronson...

QuoteCindyCGazza ruined me for all other men. We shared one glorious, magical night together. It was just the three of us: Gazza, me, and the palm tree. The doctors say that I might be able to walk normally again someday. But, but... Are you sure it was not you, the palm tree and paulywauly? I thought he was the one who keeps a palm tree?

Lisa usually looks great on stage, and sometimes Mick can't keep his fingers to himself... (London, August 26th 2007, probably) These four look great most of the time - at least in my eyes. (January 20th 2006 Madison Square Garden)

QuoteThe SicilianYes there were some characters out there Sly Stone, Kiss, Marc Bolan, etc... but which performer caught your eye? Although Mick and Keith have worn some outlandish outfits throughout their careers, my vote so far, goes to Jimi Hendrix. His gear for the Isle of Wight and Woodstock shows alone are winners even today. Posted by: Baboon Bro () Date: January 18, 2008 13:57

This guy! This (first photo) is probably one of the coats they made for his "Pirates of the Caribean - At World's End" appearance, but he's removed a few "extras". Keith's always been the great dresser. So comfortable with his own masculinity that he has dared using very feminine elements in his clothes on and off stage. If you take a look at the la

Yes, according to CNN they've already signed up with Universal. For a one album deal. Jagger is furious with EMI, according to CNN and Music Week. EMI have critisized a lot of artists for being lazy and not taking part in the marketing of their albums. This can NOT be the case for the Stones, who have toured extensively over the last two years, and are about to start again. So, what was

Found this old clipping from the day before he opened up his Juke Joint studio in Notodden, Norway. Turns out he's also played with Chuck Berry, Kenny Rogers, Joni Mitchell, Eric Andersen, The Beach Boys, John Lee Hooker, And he was a member of the band King Harvest. Also a studio technician for the great names in blues. This guy would probably love to hang out with Ronnie, 5-string

Found this one! Wyman's new lease of life Jan 14 2008 Bill Wyman tells Andrew Cowen why leaving the Rolling Stones was the highlight of his career. It's been ten years since Bill Wyman walked out on the Rolling Stones, tired of all the touring and its impact on family life. In his 30 year tenure, he'd probably seen it all and, as he approached 60, he decided enough was e

Yes, he's a friend of mine. He lives in a very small town, Notodden, that hosts one of the world's best blues festivals. Steve owns a fantastic analog studio, actually - he bought the entire Stax-studio when they were going to tear it down, and built it up in his little home town. It's called The Juke Joint. His studio has become a popular hangout for musicians from all over Sc

There have been several fine moments. Countless. But in my ears, and in my heart, there's one moment that stands out. During the club show at Cirkus in Stockholm in 2003, Mick did an unbelieveable version of "That's How Strong My Love Is". He was whispering, screaming, crooning - the lot. I was very embarrassed when I started to cry towards the end of the song. But I soon rea

I agree with you that people should listen to his albums. I've seen him in clubs, like at the PAradiso in Amsterdam in 2006, at the convention. But I think his style and the act would meet problems in a stadium or a giant arena. They depend on an intimate atmosphere. It would be unfair to him to throw him and his band to the wolves at an event like that. So he shiould just continue playing
