Same happened to me when I offered a grey market LP on Ebay by Alice Cooper with a 70's radio show on it (which are also sold openly on e.g. Amazon). There's lawyers who got a deal with the management of musicians to prevent such auctions/sales and the normal charge you face is between 300 and 1000 euros. I guess these high figures in BILD and German Rolling Stone (10K to 250K) are theo

This is great, one of the uncirculating films from Twickenham Studios July 28, 1965! "Stay tuned for more" sounds promising. :-) N

QuoteZindy Mathijs has both versions (has he ever shared anything here on IORR?). And gimme_shelter (Remco) has both versions too. I wish they would share. Zindy, incidentally you remind me to Wilff... Is name dropping, revealing aliases and passive aggressively demanding for outtakes from other people now the common netiquette here on IORR? What did you share here before (I

QuoteMarkbot Listening to my recording of the show now. What a hell of a good time it was. Since Sad Sad Sad was so bad according to the comments here I guess I should not include that track in my upload on Dime. Thanks for recording the show and your plan of soon uploading it to Dime. This videotaper did the same and uploaded the whole show minus Sad Sad Sad N

Quotegotdablouse So aside from the "usual"mistakes in the credits I found two interesting pieces of information in the liner notes, sorry if they've already been discussed : 1. Black Limousine supposedly started as "Broken Head Blues" (first used on OBR's "Sheep Deep Blues" bootleg LP) and "Biscuit Blues" (on OBR's Paris Results 2 but unr

QuoteCousinC The mag was called Pop.Laterne Pop/Rocky. They had some nice Stones pics. It was just Pop in 1973. Pop/Rocky was years later. Never heard about Laterne. N

QuoteDiamondDog7 With this Tattoo You deluxe release I don't think there will be It's Only Rock n Roll deluxe/anniversary edition at all. Or are there any more outtakes/lost rarities during 1974 during IORR sessions? Because Drift Away is already here. I guess they already gave us the best IORR leftovers on this new TY bonus disc... But I noted the total absence of any Black And B

QuoteLien A look inside the Dome , KMOV news Thanks for the link. But the reported news that the Stones are in town rehearsing since last Sunday can't be true. We all know that they played Foxborough on Monday, flying in on the next day at the earliest. Maybe the news reporters heard roadies checking the sound system... I guess the stadium rehearsals will start today. N

Now also uploaded by The Glimmer Stone (not to be confused with Glimmerman) on YT. I can't blame him for not giving credit and normally his (video) uploads are great, but am I the only one who thinks that (lossy audio) uploads of outtake collections suck? N

Not the Stones, just soundalikes in my opinion. Imagine you did the coup and saved the rights for a totally new and unknown Stones song to play it in your first season of your TV show (of which you hope it will be a big success so you can also do a second season). Would you bury the song in the background like that? And don't mention what you got during promotion or in the cast roll? N
