Thank you to everyone for the info. It is now clear that on 9th July 1963 the Stones recorded only 2 versions of Fortune Teller ( a 2.16 take and a 1.56 take). Both of these had audience overdubs added in 1966. However...............the original question still stands......Martin Elliott lists 3 takes on 9th July 1963.......what is the 2.06 take ? or has Martin added this take mistakenly

Brian is using the Vox peardrop guitar, so would that date it either 64 or 65 ? I don’t think he used it in 66 and it’s first use was when “It’s All Over Now” was released. The clothes look 65. I am not sure SSOH would work well in a stadium setting………….it is a slow paced song. I Got The Blues worked at the Marquee and SSOH worked at the Rackett, but unless they come out into a small stage in the audience, which they are not going to do again imho, then I just can’t see SSOH working well. I also doubt they will be playing a 2 hour set list any more, unless it is seated!

I don’t think there is any film of him on stage pre 1969.....but I haven’t checked Charlie Is My Darling.....I believe he used to play in the wings (edge of stage but out of sight of most of the audience). You could also explore the NME Poll Winners concert footage from 1965, that was a big wide and deep stage and he may just possibly be at the back, he was certainly present setting up. How
