I thought the first half sounded pretty good in 5.1. I’ll have to try the second in 2.0 when I get an hour to sit down with no interruptions. Forum: Tell Me
After comparing to the same tracks from Live Licks, it’s mind blowing how they can take a very good mastering and make it sound as if it was pulled from a puddle of mud. Yet another disappointment sound wise. But hey, I’ll gladly take any new archive releases. Forum: Tell Me
Go ahead and bite the big apple....don't mind those maggots....hells' kitchen is a DMZ, I ain't ever going back now...absolutely zero law and order, thanks to NoBallsio! By the way, where's Snake Plissken when you need him? Forum: Tell Me
I copied this along with all my other vhs to dvd about 20 years ago using a JVC 4-head vcr and dvd recorder. Couldn’t even tell you where they’re at in my pile of stuff now but they turned out great on the highest grade recording settings. I even made 2 copies each just in case one got messed up. I just came to look at it as it’s a bonus if the jewel case isn’t broken or cracked from Amazon. I’ve watched them just toss the package onto the concrete step. Luckily I have a ton of extra single cases but not the double. It does get old. Forum: Tell Me
Nope don’t smoke. Two separate copies skipping or hanging at exact same spot on 3 different cd decks and 1 pc can rule that out. It’s a manufacturing defect. Forum: Tell Me

I’m talking about the new 2cd with live disc just released.
My version of this plays just fine.
Also tried both on my car cd deck. Same result. I’m replacing with another from Amazon. Maybe third times a charm and not three strikes and I’m out. Forum: Tell Me

Just got another from Amazon and it also skips and hangs 8 seconds into Whole Wide World-live on all my cd players. Surely someone else is having this. Not sure what the hell to do now.
Am I the only one who bought the deluxe 2cd set? I didn’t see another thread on it.
Haven't opened my deluxe boxset, but all my stand alone editions play Forum: Tell Me

Just got my deluxe release from the Rolling Stones Official Store and track 3 disc 2 (Whole Wide World) skips 8 seconds in on all my cd players...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Should've bought from Amazon at least the return would be easier...DAMMIT! Forum: Tell Me
Still got the vhs. Cold beers and a pizza watching the Stones’ life story up to the time. Fun times indeed. Unlike the Crossfire Hurricane doc which could’ve been so much better had it covered up to it’s release. Forum: Tell Me
Thanks for everything. Probably the only bookmark I can say I’ve had on every computer since I first got on the big web some 20 odd years ago. Not far behind you on the retirement thing. I’m not that old but my career has taken it’s toll on my bones.
Best of luck buddy. Forum: Tell Me

Are those ratings on a five or a ten scale? Nah, really they’re all solid in their own way considering the specific times or lineups.
5 being best.
I know. To me the best 1-2 punch in that list were Ballbreaker followed by Stiff Upper Lip. Phil was back and the sound and feel of classic AC/DC was back. Forum: Tell Me
1994...we left the kids with grams, went to the show and our ears rang for 24 straight. Ronnie's amp was cranked TO THE MAX, I mean near ear blisters. That being said, I wouldn't trade it for nothin'! Forum: Tell Me
Oh boy. It all depends where I’m at in life’s big journey as in family, health, work, etc. If I get behind in my collection as far as new stuff I always seem to catch up, so far… Forum: Tell Me
I was kinda happy to see Ghost Town as the bonus track. Now I don’t have to fork out the extra dough for the Japan version since I already have the single. Forum: Tell Me
