Same experience. The song circulated way beyond their fanbase. My circle of Metalheads (usually Iron Maiden and the like) put it on at parties and some people told me "that new song is the sh*t" as if I had something to do with it. Funny enough two guys I know that are huge Maiden fans both love Doom and Gloom and said the show they saw said Doom and Gloom, Can't You Hear
