Quotestoneswashed77 if mick could he would leave the drummer and the guitarists behind and make his own thing for sure. Mick can do that and, in fact, he has. And still does so from time to time. Mick's played Stones songs with fabulous musicians, real pros, and as good as they are, they aren't the Stones. They're just fine musicians playing Stones music perfectly well but lacki

I think it's a bit unfair to talk about "Darryl's sound" as he probably has very little do with what kind of a bass sound has been chosen for the movie. That said, I don't like the sound either.

QuotekeeffriffhardDifficult .....I like both Mick's and Keef's version You know what would have been great? Mick singing 1st verse, then Keith 2nd verse, etc. and the chorus they sing together. That would be great!!! I think it would be easy enough to make that happen nowadays. Interesting thought. I might give it a try myself when I have time.

In my honest opinion, it's never going to happen but just to play with the idea, why have the two guitarists play the bass as the original bass player's still alive and kicking? As we have seen, there IS room for three guitarists these days: Ronnie could play Keith's parts, Taylor could do his own thing, Keith could... well, be Keith and Blondie could handle the shakers and tambour

Great photos! Quite amusing to see all the film people behind the band and the models of the front rows. As real as it gets...

Production ruins it for me. I love the sounds and sort of laid back style of Voodoo Lounge but SW much like Bridges is somehow too sharp for me. Nevertheless, I like many of the songs on those two albums but often I'm just not in the mood to listen to that kind of production.

As I see it, the best possible future for Rough Justice would be to be chosen to be a "new You Got Me Rocking". In other words, a war horse that's not a classic. I don't see that happening, though.

Wherever that comes from, it's a wonderful thing to say in my opinion. I've stolen that line, actually.

I think - and just think - that Brian and Keith probably did a lot of weaving back in the day but perhaps the only ones who heard it in its full brilliance were the ones present at their house. And I think that's where Keith got the idea of how guitars should melt into one but that didn't happen before Ronnie joined the band. Most of the time, again I think, guitarists who base their

And we had ZZ Top in Helsinki in 2003. Wouldn't call that lousy and cheap. I'd like to see Amy Winehouse or maybe Toots. The problem with rock bands as support acts is that they all, no matter how good, seem quite lame compared to the main event.

Republique Hotel, 31 Rue Albert Thomas It's just a few steps away from place de la République and a metro station. It's quite cheap but very nice with clean rooms and probably the smallest lift you'll ever see.

This is from the same interview: "I've been trepanned. That's quite an interesting experience, especially for my brain surgeon, who saw my thoughts flying around in my brain. "I've got pictures of it, mate. They cut my head, brain, skull open, went in and pulled out the c***, and put some of it back again. "But that's the way it is. I mean, s*** , Keith

Above all, there are still some people who are actually believing that the boys use click tracks for more than just to get the song started at a predetermined tempo.

That set list only proves what is commonly accepted as a fact that Mr. 1-2-3-4 uses click in order to deliver his catch phrase at right tempo. I am still hesitant to believe that click is used throughout songs. This, of course, could be proven with a little experiment with a sequencer program and a bootleg recording. Perhaps I will have to do that one day.

Click tracks can be adjusted to change the tempo of the song in the middle of the songs but then you will have make sure that the song follows a predetermined structure so that tempo will go up and down when wanted. I think it could be possible to hire someone to turn a knob during a live performance so that occasional screw-ups wouldn't spoil everything but I think it's not really nece

Honky Tonk Women was the first song that I learned to play with guitar. Just the chords but enough so that strumming a few chords made sense and it felt like playing something. Start Me Up was actually the reason I bought my first guitar. Wanted to learn to play the riff but it took over ten years before I actually understood how it works.

It's Chuck "1-2-3-4" Leavell who needs the click track for his catch phrase. That's all.

In fact, there is still an available seat in A4 which is center/Ronnie's side. I'm trying to find another Keith side seat but those seem to be gone.
