Quotefrtg55 I always loved the version of "Worried about you" they did on "Tattoo you" so much. But I don't like the "Worried about you" live-versions. Everything would be nice, if Mick does not that horrible loud "screaming-sqealing" in these high falsetto parts at the climax of the song. When he does the quiet falsetto parts, he's mostly ok,

Sunday Telegraph: As Wood celebrated the Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary with a surprise concert in Paris, his ex-wife marked the collapse of their 24-year marriage in Los Angeles with a sale of some of his most personal belongings. A year on from their divorce, prompted by the guitarist’s affair with Ekaterina Ivanova, a 20-year-old Russian waitress, his former wife Jo is selling an estim

Sadly I can't begin to justify these prices to myself. I'll be hoping for some summer dates next year that are a little less pricy

MJ varies depending on his audience as others have already said. Keith's accent is a big surprise to me, for a lad with working class roots he sounds very much country gentleman/landed gentry to my ear, his would fit better with Etonians than any of Mick's variants that I can think of

What a tragic, shocking day for Norway and its people. My thoughts and sympathies are with them.

I was there, my best seats ever, just a couple back from the B stage thanks to a long suffering Mr Stargroves. It may have been the Last Time, but I'm not sure that that was the intention at the time, we'll just have to wait and see...

Ben's wife and father-in-law and a group of friends, neighbours and fans from Dorset were at the second show - if we didn't know who Hamish Maxwell was, some of them didn't know who Mick Taylor was either. Both sides discovered something...

What an excellent evening of Boogie for Stu. With 2 grand pianos on stage and 3 of the world's best to play them it was always about the boogie and the music. Ben Waters deserves huge respect and thanks for putting this on. Seeing Mssrs Wyman and Watts together in action really showed me why so many people bang on about things not being the same without them, they were a solid team that d

Never mind the Glimmer Twins, which pub are we meeting in? I'll be leaving in an hour or so to head for London from the Wild West. Green Lady you're first set aren't you? We're in for the 9.30, maybe say Hello and fin out how the first half went?

Gazza I agree with all that you wrote, but I really enjoyed seeing Ben Waters in concert when I went last year. Not so much the ABCD thing but he's good in his own right. So no expectations of Glimmer Twins and then I just may be pleasantly surprised.

The Ivy is a restaurant and tables booked many months in advance - though I'm guessing if your name is J Holland or M Jagger you can get a table a bit quicker than that. The private room could have been good for us to book however I'm temporarily short of funds until after Cheltenham races next week

Which pub will it be? We have tickets for the second show. Or should we just get a table at The Ivy?

Yes, definitely. But Dick Taylor, NOT Mick Taylor Quotecrumbling_mice This is nonsense, it wouldn't be the Rolling Stones without Keith...if he can't play, let him stay on stage and do his noodling with a back up guitarist. Ronnie is playing fine andknows all Keith's parts...so, bring Taylor in - if his health can take it that is!

If the late, great Lee Brilleaux was still alive... If the Feelgoods got over the animosity when Wilko left/was asked to leave and they all decided on one last tour now Oil City Confidential has them back in mind... Would Lee leave the stage while Wilko sang and have his hair tidied?

Umm I'm sure they do put on a great show, there are none of the original crew though, sadly. What I would love to see is the Lee Brilleaux weekend line up where the original surviving 3 jam together. Wilko, Big Figure, Sparko. And yes, the Hamsters are always great live too. QuoteMonkeytonkman Dr Feelgood are still going, of course with only a portion of the original crew. but

Yes! Best live band ever, I so wish there was the wealth of archive that there is for the Stones. As there isn't I'm currently knitting a time machine to travel back and go to gigs like the Kusaal that was filmed for Going Back Home. Since I can't knit, it is worth buying the DVD & CD in the meantime. Oil City Confidential is great too, there's a showing in Reading lat
