"Testing it", of course means testing it on a crowd of 60.000 people. Not easy doing that in your hotel room... We all know this guy can do magic. But not all magic is good. There is such a thing as black magic... And the BS intro certainly do strange things to people... Some become doctors, some get a problem with the light, some hear strange noises and some just simply start cal

Keith is obviously able to play other songs VERY WELL! Why does he KEEP doing this on BS? Wouldn't the natural answer be, because he wants to? And why does he suddenly get old every time he play BS? And this shit about "key". Thought I'd call that bluff... It worked!

What sounds good is a matter of taste, and as such can be discussed endlessly... To say you like something or don't like something is ok with me. That's a straightforward and honest opinion. I have no problem with that! But I do have a problem with this "Keith can't play, he was out of key" stuff. OK, then: What rule(s) did he break? And why can't he break the

maybe... maybe not... But you sound like there's some kind of musical rule that you should play in "key". There isn't! If it sounds good, it sounds good!

Some people seem to have a preset definition of how this intro should be played. I'm glad Keith hasn't!

Anyone can make a great studio recording, wee bobby. A lot of people have... But how many can work a crowd like the Stones? Over and over again? That's where the true rocker or true musician or whatever you like to call these guys stands out!!!

Oh come on! The Stones has always been better on stage than in studio. They're musicians, not studio technicians!

Hate it? No!!! Love it! Here's why: Went to see it with some friends back then + one friend of an acquintance of an acquintance of a friend... A real boring guy 'cause he just kept bragging 'bout his newly bought audio equipment, far above what a poor student could even dream of those days... I tried to be nice and said something like it would've been cool to listen to s

I have this problem with friends all the time. I tell them to go and see the Stones and they say: "Hmmm, maybe we should..." Next day they come back and say "Hey, we bought tickets! But there was this other band, Cinderella and the Flying Gators... sounded more interesting and half the price, so... Stones? Maybe next time..." Well, there won't be a next time. Because n

Must have been november 1965. Back in my country, the closest you could get to the UK charts on national broadcast must have been Jim Reeves... But I finally got hold of a battery-operated radio and dug myself deep under the blankets at night and tuned into top 20 at Radio Luxembourg. Wow! What a world out there! I think Get Off Of My Cloud topped the very first chart I listened to. It was

This thread wouldn't be here... This entire forum wouldn't be on my desktop... In fact none of you guys would exist... I might even lose that voice always coming up behind me screaming: " CAN YOU GET OFF THAT BLOODY COMPUTER AND START MAKING SOME USE OF YOURSELF!!!" Oh yeah, I remember that time. Hours and hours of discussions 'bout who followed who. It all ended after Their satanic majesties request when Mick said something like he'd rather have 14 year olds screaming in the audience than musical students nodding their heads. And then they released Have you seen your mother... All the "leading" bands, including the Beatles, just kind

Both through their songs and their acts there's never been any reasons to question this. And it goes for China as well, as this generally is seen as part of the new opening up process in
