Quotespunky QuoteVoodooLounge13 Surprised Charlie's was only 500 copies. That will be a bit more of a rarity. Where did you find it was only 500 copies? One of the websites I was searching it on - Roughtrade maybe?

For me, the White Album has always been an overhyped record. One that could be scaled back to an excellent long EP or a very short LP, depending on how one looks at it. There are some most excellent tracks on it (Julia, Good Night, Dear Prudence), but there is also a bunch of rubbish. It's weird because I rarely listen to The Beatles anymore, and they were my #1 before '97. But ev

QuoteMKjan VL13 It is tiring to see your dreary repetitive comments on HD. Can’t you have some sense and understand how boring and forgetable your endless ranting is. Consider this a favor, to spare you further embarassment of more quibbles. I come on this thread to read about the great album the Stones have given us, not to witness your troubled ways. Peace. SO because my opinion

QuoteUrbanSteel THE ROLLING STONES BEGGARS BANQUET LP $30.00 Ships on May 1, 2024 In 1968 The Rolling Stones returned to their blues roots on Beggars Banquet, which was immediately acclaimed as one of their landmark achievements. A strong acoustic Delta blues flavor colors much of the material, particularly “Prodigal Son” and “No Expectations.” Basic rock n’ roll is not forgotten with

And all 31 tracks of the new album were streamed over 240 million times!!!!! These are special, special times to watch what's happening in music, regarding Ms. Swift. Believe these are all Day 1

This guy's been p'd off since the 90's when grunge threatened to ruin the Brit Pop music scene once and for all before they made their landmark album and cleared the way for the likes of Oasis and others.

With the rumors swirling around Gaga, what if there's no opening act for the other shows, because it's going to be her, and she's guesting at all those shows???! That would be a sweet opening act!!

Absolutely treacle!! VL isn’t the be all end all. You know what it is?? I’ve been trying to come up with it cuz I just IDK I lack the excitement I usually have for the Stones with new music a new tour. And so far as I can tell I think it’s Charlie’s passing. None of it seems to have the same appeal anymore. And to know an album with Charlie drum I g was shelved cuz it was only going to be medio

I for one didn’t say it was one of the best shows I’d ever seen. Just that the t still had that religious aspect to it. Nothing will touch that night in Jersey on The Rising tour. If you’ve never seen him I can see why you’d say one of the best shows ever. Same for the Stones but they haven’t been top shelf for me since early in the ABB tour with all the special effects and outfits still. And eve

A simple case of self hypnosis here, but hey...... I'm not the only one to have these feelings/experiences - hell even people leaving last night were talking about it, and it was NOWHERE near the level it was in

OK fair enough, but you'd have to play without rehearsing? I assume that's what they're doing. I mean geez look how long it takes the boys to get into shape and they play 80% of the same damn songs year after year!!! I prefer the variation and spontaneity of a Bruce show to the ho-hum of the same ol' stale Stones show, personally. But I'm still going. Can't wait

Tell me another band who can do that?!?!? Who knows music so well to be able to just play whatever at the drop of a dime, on a whim like that?!?!? I was amazed at their doing it a few years ago. I would LOVE a boxset release of all those covers! Can't wait to order last night's show!!! Just a special, special night.
