I've always wanted to see that...thanks for the link. Screaming girls, scenery from a train, charlie talkin' about art, brian talkin' about making films,an obnoxiously drunk Mick Jagger...my kind of film. Nice to see something from the Brian Jones era.

I'm kind of embarrassed asking about this since I don't have anything at this time to put up myself, but I was wondering if it's not too much trouble if somebody could put up the legendary Brussels Affair, or if somebody knows anywhere else it can be downloaded at. I've heard great things about it but have never actually listened to it myself and I'm dying to hear it!

If this is true then it's a pretty low thing for them to do.

Let It Bleed is definitely better than Some Girls. I love Some Girls and I don't mean to bash it, but can stuff like Miss You and Respectable really compare with Gimme Shelter and Midnight Rambler? Oh well. At le

Anybody else think the album Undercover is underrated and unappreciated? I've seen alot of online reviewers bash it but it's one of those types of cds that I can listen to over and over again. It doesn't sound like any other Stones album but it still sounds great, IMO. Very dark and violent, but it works really well as a cohesive album, all of the tracks go together really well. It

Didn't Jagger have trouble with the US govt during the 70's too? And that's what got him to write Fingerprint File? I think I remember reading that somewhere.

Mick is severely underrated as a musician, singer, and songwriter.

Maybe it's not the fact that the Stones have less hardcore fans than Dylan or Springsteen, but the fact that they have more casual fans? More of the general public can probably name a Stones song like Brown Sugar and Satisfaction than they can a Dylan or Springsteen song.

Is this really worth getting? I've never listened to a Mick Jagger solo album before and I'm kind of worried that if I get this all the songs will sound like Streets of Love. But I've heard some good things about it. Quality wise, is it as good as a Stones' albums or at least almost as good?

QuoteOops I forgot the polorizing Angie. I love this tune but I always seem to hear so many hate it. "unstones like" cmon now Angie is awesome. MEZ Angie is one of my favorite Stones' songs. If that makes me uncool then so be it. I also like the following: Cool Calm Collected Fool To Cry Anybody Seen My Baby Anyway You Look At It Already Over Me Always Suffering

Someone on youtube put up a video of the Andrew Loog Oldham Orchestra version of The Last Time and I was surprised to hear how much it sounded like Bittersweet Symphony: I'd always felt sorry for the Verve because I couldn't hear any similarities between the Stones The Last Time and Bittersweet Symphony but listening to this recording it does sound like the Verve totally ripped off

This would be easier if we could pick a few favorites from each album. What with the extensive Stones discography t's almost impossible to narrow it down to one, except I guess for me maybe it would be Love In Vain or Ruby Tuesday, but there are lots more that I love. All of these are favorites: Love In Vain ruby tuesday Moonlight Mile Midnight Rambler 2000 Light Years From Home S

It's amazing watching those scenes from Gimme Shelter...the bad vibes and the tension in the air, sort of a nightmarish feel to the whole thing. I don't blame Mick for being scared. During Sympathy one of the Hells Angels goes up to Jagger and whispers something in his ear...was he threatening him? Very scary scene.

QuoteIndian Girl is hilarious the first time, but a really weak song. The geographical references are funny, because they doesn't add up. I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that song funny. its about a serious subject but for some reason it always makes me laugh, esp the spoken word part at the end. I like Emotional Rescue...when I first heard it I thought it was going to
