QuoteIrelandCalling4 QuoteTumblinDice76 30th Anniversary of Voodoo. Not that they need an Anniversary year to release a special edition. BTB set could be interesting Had the same thought when reading the title, 30th Anniversary of VL. The album sold very well, over 6 million I think? There is real scope there for a quality deluxe reissue - the known outtakes that were on the Brew/Stew/Residue,

Not expecting it but I hope they upgrade the stage design. It's all very well having a stripped down stage sometimes (let's concentrate on the music etc) but I have to say I enjoy it more when there's some spectacle involved, especially as it's usually big bucks to see them these days.

Quotebitusa2012 I’ve given the album a rest for the past two weeks. Listening to lots of other things like Free, Taylor Swift, Broderick Smith, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mark Knopfler, The Beatles, Cold Chisel, Peter Gabriel and Russell Morris. Enjoyed all that. Today I took out the Carnaby Red version of Hackney Diamonds. Wow, what a record. It is holding up better and better the more I play i

I think it was David Hepworth’s voice - he did a couple of Stones/Jagger extended interviews around the time for Whistle Test. I watched those zillions of times, as i did 25X5 too

Thank you, BV - since I discovered IORR circa 2005 it has been THE place for Stones fans to hang out online and that is all down to your tremendous hard work. Thank you so much!

Well, the Stones have done something for Hackney now, haven’t they? Raising its international profile. He’s just being silly but that’s his prerogative.

It's risky to say this so soon after its release but, for me, this album is like a (superior) London riposte to NY-era Some Girls. It has a rich variety of genres and, probably aside from 2 songs that I currently think of as competent filler (Live By the Sword, Driving Me Too Hard), I thoroughly enjoy listening to each and every track. I can't honestly say the same of SG. In a w

HD is unquestionably an eclectic and superb rock’n roll album, albeit with a crisp modern sheen. And thank god for the variety on there, so what if there is a slight pop vibe. Better than a pure hard rock dead end.

QuoteShawn20 QuoteGazza Best ballad theyve done since 'Memory Motel'. Only 'Almost Hear You Sigh' runs it close. Up there with 'Sweet Sounds', 'Driving Me Too Hard' and 'Bite My Head Off' as one of the four bonafide classics on the album. Maybe 'Angry' is as well. The only thing missing is the barking dog from the 'leaked&#

I'm on my 3rd listen of the album - there are a lot of gems on it and it seems no filler, unlike ABB and most albums. Jagger said they don't want to boast but they are very proud of the new record and I can see why. You don't have to try hard to enjoy it.
