QuoteFour Stone Walls Well, I have come to this late. I am only a quarter of the way through this 46-page thread. Well worth the wait though. I first discovered about these outtakes from a 10 or 11 song selection on a single CD that popped up on YouTube. It has picture of Jagger as an undead pirate on its cover! More details on that soon. But one of its tracks is 'Nobody"s Perf

I must say after a proper listening on high gear that the album remaster is much better sounding than the 2009 one. Have you listened to Start me up (regular version) ? now you can hear something new (?) on the rhythmic which was maybe lost in the previous mix (although it has no new mix).

humm after a listening this morning on Tidal Hifi with excellent headphone the technical limitations are here for the album remaster. Hiss as always. For the outtakes my impressions : Living in the heart of love : at last the good title track. You can hear Keith properly on vocals. New Ronnie guitar part with a solo around 3'+ Taylor if I am correct. A solid rocking song. Fiji Jim has

My deluxe did not arrived yet; but listening to the snippets on Qobuz it seems this 2021 version is, at last, excellent, with no hiss. The 2009 had a hiss (easy to hear on the beginning of TOPS). The Wembley show is great since the 82 tour was poorly documented.

QuoteRocktiludrop QuoteShawn20 They are not human. What a weekend - visited the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and saw the show in Nashville. They are incredible. I agree, they are beyond the boundaries we set for humans, Keith back from the dead, Ronnie back from chemo, and Mick back from replacement heart valves, just bloody incredible human beings. Keith back from the dead : >< so true.

New cd to be released NOV 24,21 "Charlie Watts died on August 25, 2021. A quiet drummer who has supported the beat of the world's best rock and roll band for over 50 years. Charlie's first demo recording at R. Stones on March 11, 1963, and the first live recording at Stones in September 1963. In addition, valuable mixes with big drums such as "Black Wet" and "Unde

In 86 Clapton invited Keith at the Ritz NY. Keith plays on Cocaine and Laila. I have this recording MID VALLEY 011/012. Nice soundboard but Tarantura (TCDEC-1-1,2) released a 32 bit version. 200 copies only if someone has this it would be great.

Listened last night to the VINYL extraction : Taylor and Jagger clearly upfront but no Keith and only Charlie's cymbals audible. Then I listened to the official bootleg bought on Stones Archives. Much better with Keith work very listenable (great) and the horns too. But on both Charlie's bottom drum is missing, awful thin sound. I guess the microphone was not near the bass drum...
