Quotetoomuchforme A very old Hifi system. Who knows the speaker brand ? I always wonder what Hifi equipment they have at home. This isn't a "hifi" but actually looks like an old 80's Tascam 246 Portastudio 4 Track Cassette Recorder which had a built in 6 Channel Mixer. They weren't powered so the thing to the right of it may be the amp? This setup was clearly for Mick

I can vouch for Martin. Finally met him face to face at the 2nd Hollywood Bowl show in 2005. Thanks for the heads up on his new edition being published.

Hey Shawn! I've only listened to it twice so I may change my mind down the road so here goes: Performance wise they are pretty similar. Mick might be slightly more animated because it's the late show (or more blow?) What is amazing is the mix that Bob Clearmountain did on this. That guy knows how to mix drums IMO. I loved what he did with drums on the Texas 78 DVD and he did a kick

Johnny and David did a better Mick and Keith than Steven and Joe. L.A.M.F. is one of the greatest albums of all time. Miss ya Johnny.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hung out with Rod in April 1996 in Scotsdale AZ at the Giants spring training. Great guy. I said to him once, "I assume you probably pitched at your High School? Dude, you HAD to have scared the shit out of most of the other high school kids you pitched to, right?" He laughed, lit up a smoke, and told me he's been huge since about 8th or 9th grade. I

Hey Tod ! The code is "startmeup" BUT it won't do you any good because the Oakland show 4packs have been sold out for about 3 days now. The only thing left are $150, $400 and maybe $500 on stage? (haven't checked those in a while) You know what's sort of weird is that 3 or 4 days ago they had $60 & $99 tickets and the 4pack tix were filling out Sec 125 Rows 22

I saw Matt 2 months ago in Los Angeles. He was having dinner at the table behind mine. He was with some girl talking. I was trying to listen in for some sort of inside Stones tidbits about the tour but other than what hotel they were staying at (which I already knew) I didn't get very far. I got up to call two of my best friends from the restaurant's payphone to tell them to get their a

Go with a Japanese Fender Strat or Tele. I have several of them and I like them better than most of my USA Strats and all of my Teles. You can STILL get a used mid-to late 1980's model with hard case from Japan for around $350 in any major used music store on the west coast. (usa) The epiphone dot is not really going to give you that many more sounds than you can already get from your SG,
