QuoteSomeTorontoGirl QuoteThe Sicilian I'm trying to picture climbing the antenna but my mind won't let me go there. Please describe it, does it sway up there? Oh gawd, I don’t want to bore everyone (that’s a lie, I do it often and enjoy it thoroughly). ‘If the tower didn’t bend, it would break’ says the construction film, so yes, it sways, but if the winds are high and it sways more

QuoteThe Sicilian QuoteDGA35 Chicago won't trade Patrick Kane back to his home town! He's still playing at an elite level and the Hawks are making a push for the playoffs! Maybe in a couple years! The next few weeks will determine which teams are buyers and which are sellers. Kane is in the 5th year of an 8 year deal at $10 million per year cap hit and he is 31 years old and has al

QuoteErik_Snow Aha, well it's different for me, as it was GHS that really got me into the band, and I still dig it Yes, the bonus material is what's interesting, not any "new remaster". But I don't feel I need these new "vault releases" on vinyl, as they are not like an ancient part of history like them original LPs. And they sound just like the CD releases.

Quotevirgil I’ve always love it when somebody revives a thread form years ago it was just over seven years since somebody posted on this thread. I bought B&B the week it came out and I think my first play was the only time I ever listened to Oh Cherry all the way thru. I'm gonna revive some leftovers from the fridge...

QuoteChris Fountain QuoteThe Sicilian When I hear the live in Paris 76 version I hear Ya Ya's. This track could have easily fit into that setlist. The heavy bass and guitar end sounds like 1969. Is there a live youtube version? from 76? by any chance? No video just audio. It's excellent. Crank it. video:

When they played it live in Paris 1976 it was brilliant. An absolutely fantastic jam. Crank it up and let it fly. I think they played it at MSG in 1975.

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Yes! There’s something terribly wrong with you. You’re getting old and losing your mojo and...dammit! I’m going to see James Taylor next month! That will probably get cancelled. People keep saying that this crisis will take months to resolve. I was hoping to see Gordon Lightfoot in Buffalo in June just a couple days before the Stones but...have you ever seen him? H

Quotebv Quoteohmercy61 I hate to say this but they really do need to cancel the tour unfortunately people are going to really need the money they would spend on the tour to take care of themselves and their families..it stinks I know... That is very true actually. Many people will loose 4-6 months of income this year. The governments will cover a lot, but we are the tax payers, and the governme

QuoteDonnebr Thanks Sicilian. Was that through a ticket master site or from someone at the stadium Whoever was selling tickets at the time, I don't remember if it was Ticket Master or Live Nation. What I do know is that you have to act fast and don't think much about it. If you're slow off the mark you'll be wandering the grounds paying scalpers which might even be a better

QuoteDonnebr Looking one ticket for Buffalo. Those that know the stadium can you recommend a section to aim for. Can’t spring for pit but around the $200 mark or do you think I am better to wait to closer to the time. Thanks The waiting is the hardest part. But that might be your best option. In 2015, I scored a pair of $325 tickets (each) for $100 each a couple hours before the show.

Here is a link to a nice map of the parking lots at the stadium: The lots are huge so compare the size against the stadium. Not sure if all the same rules will apply that are in effect during football games but for the most part probably so. The stage is setup at the right end of the field in front of the head of the logo within the white area only. The dark blue surround is seating.

QuoteLiepger We are planning to fly from Europe in to Toronto. Spending few days there, then we will go by a bus (ticket $ 15., 4+ hours trip) to Buffalo. Showday/showtime, overnight at the hotel there. We will use a bus again next morning, whole day (9+ hrs trip, a sightseeing tour for a foreigner again) to NYC. It's probably a faster walk. Toronto to Buffalo is only 100 miles or so. It&#

Buffalo is a very easy city to get around in, and with the show on a Saturday that means most of the work traffic will be off the highway and at home. There will still be traffic in and around the stadium but very manageable because they have HUGE parking lots all around the venue. The stadium is in Orchard Park which is a suburb but only 20 to 30 minutes from downtown Buffalo. It takes longer to

These three hotels (with website links for each) are all on the same road practically next to each other. All rooms start at about $90 a night and are about a 15 minute drive from the stadium and right alongside the thruway and an exit. It is in a clean no crime suburban neighborhood about a 15 drive from downtown Buffalo and 20 minutes from the airport. Pictures of the outside of the hotel, room

In 1991 Kirk Douglas survived a helicopter crash. The three-time Oscar nominee, who died February 5 at age 103, addressed surviving a tragic helicopter crash that killed two men in his 2000 memoir, Climbing the Mountain: My Search for Meaning. The crash happened on February 13, 1991. "l'll never forget the date," Douglas wrote of the accident. He was a passenger in a heli

It's a summertime tour, hopefully they include some solid opening acts. I'd love to see a couple openers. They can slot in those cheesy filler bands but put on a veteran band for second billing. This tour badly needs a George Thorogood or Alice Cooper to rev up the crowd, something they are very good at. It would also be nice to have Stevie Wonder and Santana make a special appearance a

Quotebv Quotebv Quotecyclist BV has the rumored San Diego venue as SDCCU Stadium. It is my best guess based on info from several sources, but it is not confirmed 100% yet. I don't know if their current stage setup will work with a baseball stadium like Petco Park. Based on the fact that SDCCU Stadium is a football stadium, high capacity with room for 55,000 Stones fans with the current s
