Don't forget to add sports talk, newspaper writers, book authors, talk radio, seems like everywhere the written or spoken word is publicized, is there a pattern here?

I loved the show as well. Years ago in reruns it used to come on around midnight on a NYC station broadcast in Buffalo. I didn't know she was alive, I thought the entire cast had passed. Alice and Trixie were both beautiful women. RIP Joyce.

QuoteBeastyBurdeny My first concert was Bowie. Only saw him the one time, wish I could see him again. Would have been interesting to see what deep cuts/new songs he would have performed, had he continued touring beyond the Reality album. He was my first concert too back in 1976.

QuotePaddy I was listening to the Santa Monica 72 release last night. Mick Ronson was a great guitar player. So was I. Actually I've been listening to it for the past 3 days. It's the first time I heard it in its entirety. Mick Ronson was perfect for Bowie.

I first saw April Wine when they opened for the Stones in Buffalo at Rich Stadium on July 4, 1978. (Atlanta Rhythm Section and Journey were also on the bill) Then I saw them in April 1979 at the Aud in Buffalo when they opened for The Tubes and Squeeze. The last time I saw them was in March 1981 at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo when they opened for Nazareth. Of course they get lots o

Matthew Perry has died of an apparent drowning in a Jacuzzi at a home in LA, he was 54 years-old. Perry — who was not married and had no children — had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse. He opened up about his decades-long battle with addiction in a memoir titled “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing,” which was published last year. Perry went to rehab 15 times and had undergo

What a brilliant voice Ray Davies has. Too bad those guys couldn't keep it together over the years. Hopefully they'll find a way to give it a go.

QuoteBFR Sydney Sweeney is a huge star! She is in two of HBO's most recent hit shows: Euphoria and The White Lotus. The Stones have featured the hottest new actors/actresses in their videos many times before and I think this is one of the best features they've had. I LOVED the video and the song. Can't wait to hear more of the album. They've still got it Never heard of h

QuoteDaveG I generally don't like new music by old rockers (I love the songs from the '60's and '70's) but I have to say that I really like this song. It drew me right in with the catchy opening riffs, and Mick's voice is fantastic. Pretty damn good. I am impressed! Modern technology helps a LOT. But I whole-heartedly agree with you on music choices. I am locked in

Judging by the retro scenes on the billboards in the video, and the "Off The Hook" medley, something tells me that maybe the Stones will dig into their past with more retro songs in an upcoming setlist. It's a long shot for sure but we'll see. The clues are there.

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl I wasn’t too optimistic about this one and the sound quality watching the press conference waan’t great, so I was getting ready to be disappointed. Then watched the official video. Sound is great, song works, I think it’s going to do well. And the old video footage included Bill and Mick T so some will be especially happy with it. Good one, Stones! Now…let’s hear it live!

The live billboard was an absolutely brilliant idea. Not thinking of any others, I would rate it as their best use of a video montage in a video. The S & M chick thing was more of a distraction for younger viewers.

Nonsense, You can’t “blow a band off the stage” when another band plays in between and they come on six hours later.
