Saw Robin Trower for the sixth time earlier this week in Arizona. He looks ancient, however he still puts on a great show. Unfortunately, despite having over 40 years of music in his collection, Trower was on stage for only 1 hour & 25 minutes.
Earlier this summer, Santana (accompanied by almost 15 others on stage) played for 1 hour & 45 minutes. Is it too much to ask our rock her

Don't care for Ticket Master's $15-$50 fees, plus handling, plus shipping, etc, etc.

Not a complaint, but rather a thought.
In the 3 shows I've seen, Night Time was played each time. Would have liked to have seen Mr. Pitiful in its place once.
Last night, the Stones played both. An interesting move, however this bumped another new song or something else from the Stones collection of music.
The Stones have been in business for quite some time and yet they dedicate

Maybe Bowie can be the Super Bowl "guest" and he and Mick can do a "Panic in Detroit" duet.

Roy Orbison
Would have loved it if he were on The Traveling Wilburys 2nd album. There was even talk of a short tour. When Harrison died that was the end of the Wilburys. Damn.

Screw that, the Stones do not need to bow to anyone.
They will

Has any other band expressed an interest in Mick Taylor over the years?

Probably just some bozo columnist trying to stir things up a bit and get people to read his writing.
Similar to other so called "music writers" in local papers that go see the Stones in their city then write the same stuff everyone else does in other cities. Groundhog Day, again and again and again...........

Where do the Stones usually rehearse in Europe prior to the start of the tour?
They should have 7 weeks off after Australia & NZ and before Barcelona.
Do they have a favorite place in Europe to prepare for the tour? Where have they gone in the past?

While in Russia, a bookstore employee gave me the Russian version of the poster promoting Bill Wyman's book "Rolling With The Stones" simply for the asking. She mentioned that the poster was due to be replaced next week and declined cash that I wanted to give to her for her efforts, so I left $5 on the counter.

Mick & Keith get several phone calls from Cohl, who is planning the 2008-2009 World Tour. Cohl informs Mick that tickets will be $150-$800. Mick asks Cohl if that is too high and Cohl just laughs and says that's what it will be.

Will the show at Brno be in an arena? Capacity is listed at 20,000 on the tour date page. Would have thought that an "Exhibition Ground" would be an outdoor venue, similar to a stadium.
Anyone have any info on this venue?
