I grew up an hour south of Cleveland. Northeast Ohio is one of the most densely populated and diverse areas of the country. We've seen a lot of ups and downs but we're still holding on. No need to be jerks. PS we decide who the president is. So don't mess with us.

I had a great golden retriever mix named Angie. She ran away at the age of 5 on July 5, 2003. Our neighbors fireworks scared her when I let her out to pee and she never came back. That song always reminds me of her.

2 corrections: -The B-52s are not in the Hall of Fame (however I believe they should be). -And Leon Russell IS in the Hall of Fame. He was inducted last year by Elton, but in the Sideman category. Also, I'd like to add the Eurythmics to the list of artists who should've been nominated and inducted now. They were one of the most popular and successful bands of the 80s and helped

I would love a tour in 2010, but I would really prefer new music over a tour. Didn't Keith even say that he wasn't really all that into the idea of the Licks Tour b/c there really wasn't new material to support? He felt like it was more a nostalgia act tour instead of a real tour supporting new material. (i know there were 4 new songs on 40 Licks). Do you think there will be a new

Oh Flacnvinyl...who cares. I think it's a great. It takes a real man to be comfortable enough with his sexuality to be able to do that. Anyone who thinks that the Stones are a heterosexual based band are fooling themselves. Each band member loved pushing the limits of what is considered normal for heterosexual men, especially in the 70's. Mick wasn't as flamboyant as Bowie, but he

There's a pretty new radio station here in New York called Pulse 87.7. It plays really good dance music, and it's been playing Charmed Life a lot. It's like it's a big single on top 40 or something. This station plays everything from the new Taylor Dayne to old school TLC. Very good station.

Paint It Black is in the top 100 selling songs on iTunes right now. ...granted it's number 100, but still, it's cool that they have a song in there.

If anyone has 2 Annie Lennox tickets for the NYC show please let me know. Preferably for under $200.00 for the pair.

I think it's a great song, and I think it COULD be a warhorse. However, it seems like a tricky song to sing. It's not the easiest song for Mick, as compared to YGMR or JJF, etc.

This is probably the dumbest post I've seen on this board. Both Mick and Bono are great guys and I'm sure Mick would definitely pick up the tab for Bono anytime. They're friends and friends pay for each other's meals all the time.

First of all, it's "listen to" not "listen too." And secondly it's a great album with great songs.

I have this DVD. I don't really think it's that great only b/c of the editing. There are way too many fan shots, and the shots move to fast. I like the way the Stones and U2 and Madonna do theirs a lot better. However, I will say that if you look at all the veteran singers out there, Steven Tyler can definitely still sing. His voice almost seems better than it used to be. He's p

I have to say I'm completely unsure of how it will do. At first I thought horrible b/c I went to a Borders and Virgin Megastore in NYC and neither were out front like new CDs. But then I went to a few other places like Best Buy and Barnes and Noble and they had it out front and there were only a few copies left. Who knows. It won't be amazing but ppl like best of's. I bet it'l

B2B and Voodoo Lounge were both good sounds. As much as I love contemporary Stones, I wasn't a fan of either the Licks Tour or ABB Tour sound of this song.

I think "Let's Make It Up" is a great track. If i were to go to a Jagger solo show in the winter, maybe at Radio City or something, this would be a great track to do live.

Madonna has a new album coming out this fall/winter. I think Warner Bros. says there is a yet to be titled album coming out in Oct. as well as a new greatest hits of remixes. Also, no the U2 Popmart hasn't been released yet; only the VHS.ZooTV is on DVD though, as of last fall.

He was supposedly working on a new album, however there really aren't any updates. I think he's happy with life right now and isn't in a rush. After the Realty Tour (which was amazing) he probably wanted an extra long break. He'll be back for sure. Maybe not for a year or two but he'll be back.

I agree whole heartedly with the first post. Mick's stuff is amazing. I wish really bummed when I found out that the "new cd" is a greatest hits and not a new studio album.

Mick could easily sell out theaters and the tour would be a great success. He has plenty of material. Maybe he wouldn't play Omaha but he could do at least 10 US cities and other international places and he'd do more than good sales. It'd be a missed opportunity not to this time around for him. Shame he didn't last time.

B2B is their best album since Some Girls and I whole-heartedly agree that this album had the best live songs. I wish they would've played these songs on the Bigger Bang tour. Just wanted to say that the studio version of Saint of Me is awesome, one of their best tracks ever (one of the top 5 since the 70s) and the rap in Anybody Seen My Baby is actually really well done I think. I'm 2

I still don't understand why the boys didn't play even ONE new song. Hell, even one RECENT song. Did they even play You Got Me Rocking? If so, that still doesn't count. Martin S. shot one of their concerts to be released to movie theaters and they're only playing old songs. Rough Justice would've been a great addition to these setlists. Maybe even a great version of Stree

I'm sorry King Snake, but are you going to say the same about the Stones (and Beatles) though? Is Michael Jackson a better artist than Mick and Keith and John and Paul b/c he's sold more albums? Hell no. Just because he happened to be very talented for a short period of time doesnt mean at all that he's better than Madonna (or our boys for that matter). Years from now, Madonna will

Madonna is a great performer. If I wasn't at work, I'd type about 500 reasons why she's as famous, popular and successful as she is today. Granted, some of her lyrics aren't that in depth, but musically she's just as good as anyone else, and probably better than most. I dont know any, and I mean ANY, artist who has been as consistently successful and release actually goo

Madonna's song is called BEAUTIFUL STRANGER, not PERFECT STRANGER (like the 80's sitcom, lol). And I think Madonna did a great job. I have the highest respect for her for many reasons. I think the concerts were great. They were for a good cause and if you actually watched the non-music clips you learned things too. The Smashing Pumpkins were great. Their set was awesome. I didn't

Offstage he dresses like it's 2007. On the ABB tour, some of his clothes are very Vegas like. Maybe that's what he's going for. I think his clothes during the Goddess in The doorway era were the best. They were edgy and modern. I wish his clothes had more edge to them instead of being bling bling.

We need to keep in mind that we're dealing with Mick Jagger here. There's no way the man is going to let "age" slow him down. There's no way he's going to let Paul McCartney tour while Mick's "retired." No way. The man wants to win, and I don't blame him. They are the best band in the world and he's not going to stop until he actually wants t
