I don't have a problem with the Chili Peppers, but this is NOT a Chili Peppers board, and BornOnTheBayou just takes every opportunity he can to post or start threads about his beloved band. SAVE IT FOR A CHILI PEPPERS BOARD, BAYOU! On the other hand, it is HILARIOUS that the Chili Peppers' big new hit has been shown to be plagiarism of Tom Petty. As Bayou would say, LOLOLOLOLOL!

Calm down, people. According to the executive producer of this show, Rob Burnett, Jagger will have a regular role that is small and not time-consuming. Furthermore, even IF the pilot did get picked up as a series (technically, an unlikely event, as Halup points out), Jagger would NOT be in the show for more than one season. From yesterday's New York Times: "If ABC does order the

Actually, you're wrong: seeding took into account performance in the last two World Cups, AS WELL AS world ranking positions for year end 2003, 2004 and as of on November 23, 2005. But my point is simply that the rankings t

FIFA rankings are based in large part on how well a team plays against countries in its regional federation (as well as on performance in the preceding World Cup). The U.S. plays against a lot of sub-par opposition in CONCACAF, and their ranking is consequently inflated. FIFA rankings mean nothing, and if you think that this means the U.S. will be favored over Italy in World Cup group play th

This is just one report, by a music writer whose stories have been questioned in the past (try a Google search), and relying on a blind quote from a "Stones insider." It may well be true, but I'll wait to hear it from a more official source before I believe it....

Obviously, that depends on whether you are talking about the "biggest" country in terms of population (China) or land mass (Russia). But it's not wrong to say that China is the biggest, if you don't specify the measure. Why bring this up here?

I can't believe that you idiots believe what you read in The Sun.
